My family and I went to dinner on New Year's Eve, Eve. The food & service was excellent. The place was warm & cozy. They added a closed in porch that wasn't there the last time we visited. We've devoured. the Shrimp & Grits, Gumbo, the burgers etc. Everything was yummy. Even the musical act was outstanding his name was... More

This was one of the first place I ate while in Dahlonega. The salad tasted unwashed, though the food was acceptable. A couple of weeks later I brought the wife - and the fried food was okay, but would not recommend it for the food.

Our family group of six stopped here on a late Monday afternoon. We all loved it! Unique cocktails (try the apple cider mule) and local beers, especually the Imperial Red, Terrapin Blood Orange, and one aged in cherries. Our family ordered and loved the shrimp and grits, oysters, boudin, jambalaya, seafood bruschetta app, and cheddar sausage fries. Nice ambience and... More

We visited and the staff was fantastic! The crayfish dip was great! My wife had the crab cakes and shrimp which was good. The seafood platter was inconsistent. Some was soggy. The views from the balcony on a beautiful day were nice. Would go back!!!

If you like New Orleans then you will love this place. Nothing no like the taste of and atmosphere of being on Bourbon Street with having to travel the long distance there. It is right here in the North Georgia Mountains. From the Gumbo to the Bruschetta to the jambalaya you will think you are in New Orleans. Be sure... More

I've been to this place twice with about 2 years in between. Nothing has changed. The food is boring. This place is guaranteed business as it's right on the square. The first time, you could tell they didn't change their oil for some time as the fried chicken came out as a dark brown. The second time, I ordered a... More

I order the Primavera with crawfish....it was actually a really good dish. Everything was well seasoned....including the noodles. It was a really large portion....actually enough for two. I order the gator bites too....I ate those so quickly...I almost forgot I ordered them. They have an outdoor seating area out back with the fire pit.....seem fury friend friendly outside. The place... More

We spent our anniversary at Amicalola State Park and ate dinner our last night at Bourbon Street Grille. We had a great 2nd story level table next to the window overlooking the brightly-lit downtown Dahlonega. We started off with a couple of beers and appetizers, which were very reasonably-priced. Our main dishes were a "mixed bag". The red beans and... More

We eat here fairly often on Sundays. I absolutely love the Bowl of Gold. Sometimes I add a side of cubed sweet potatoes. We've also eaten the steak and guacamole salad, very good and the muffelatta (spelling?) omelet. Everything is always really good and the service is awesome most of the time.
