Ordered the chicken breast. It was really dry and bland, but edible. Restaurant decorated with deer heads all around the room if you're into that sort of thing. Looked like a local Friday night hangout. Our waitress was really sweet and went out of her way but another was mingling with customers and kept going on and on about getting... More

This is a great restaurant for Southern' Cooking! It was the best breakfast I have had in a long time! Everything tasted wonderful and can't wait to go back someday!

One of the best restaurants in the area according to locals. We ate here after some tough hiking and had a fantastic meal. Highly recommended!

We stopped for lunch at this restaurant while sight seeing in Dahlanonga. We didn't want to eat in the foo foo restaurants we found in the down town area of town and we were pleasantly surprised! This is a no frills restaurant that has good food and great prices. Lunch was served cafeteria style and we had a choice of... More

While in Dahlonega, we decided to have dinner at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant. The description we obtained led us to believe this was a good old sit down home cookin’ local restaurant. We should have done a bit more review prior to driving over. Instead of a sit down restaurant, what we found upon entering was primarily a cafeteria style... More

Tuesdays are the day I usually have to make a stop at the Wagon Wheel. Tuesdays is the day you can get chicken livers on the food line. In my opinion they are the best in town. I also like the cabbage, potatoes, and green beans. All like my grandmother used to make. The food is definitely country fare and... More

It's a hidden gem. Great home cooking food. You know it's good because it's packed with mostly locals .

3rd trip and always love the people but the food is just ok. For example the BBQ is frozen precooked like you buy in the freezer section at Walmart. My wife asked her salmon not be cooked in butter because our nursing son gets sick from dairy, but they soaked it in butter. That said they have a decent salad... More

While on a motorcycle ride in the area decided to stop for an early lunch at 11:00 AM. When I entered the employees were all sitting at a table earring lunch together. There was only one other patron. As soon as I entered the manager jumped up to serve me. Demeanor was typical friendly southern style which I really love... More
