Pricey but well worth it. The stuff I ending up buying was excellent, especially some of the chocolate barks. Spent more here than at dinner. No doubt I am coming back again when in this area.

Just a lovely spot altogether, from the irresistible sweets to the model train chugging around the store while you shop, to the fun of watching the staff make candy—they were dipping caramel apples during our visit. But the real show stopper was the truffles. Wow!!...So many flavors, and soooo delicious. Coconut cream pie was my favorite, raspberry was my husband’s, and the kids loved the chocolate brownie flavored truffles. Definitely worth stopping for a visit!More

The hot chocolate is made with dark chocolate. If you are not a fan of dark chocolate, you will probably not like it. Their sea salt turtles are delicious.

Make sure you visit this chocolate shop! The employees are nice and the food is even better! They didn’t even hesitate when I asked them to make me an apple that they didn’t have on hand. Everything we had was amazing!

What more is there to say? It's a chocolate store. They have a wide variety of different chocolate candies. Everything I tried was amazing.

While in Dahlonega for a three day trip, we visited your shop twice. Both times, as we entered the store we were overcome by the wonderful smells and the enticing displays of all the goodies. It was difficult to make a selection from all the...choices, but we managed to get a small assortment. To top it all off, we got some of the hot chocolate and it’s reputation is well deserved. We took our purchases out to the town square and sat on a bench in front of the Christmas tree. There we were able to enjoy each and every bite of our chocolates. We didn’t return to the store the next day, before leaving town, and purchased more of our favorites, in addition to finding treats to bring home to our grandson. Paul Thomas Chocolates will definitely be one of our regular stops anytime we find ourselves in the area.More

Line was horribly long—which would’ve perfectly fine if the chocolate wasn’t $31/lb!!!!! Seriously?! So for a few small pieces of chocolate & a small hot chocolate for us to share it was $23.13! And the hot chocolate tasted like watered down dark chocolate. Gross. And...one more thing, I saw on Instagram that they had white chocolate covered strawberries (one of my favorite things in the world) so I had to get 2 of them. Yeah, no. They were just sitting out for everyone (because very few people were wearing masks in there besides us) to breathe on at the cash register. Needless to say I still got them & they were teeny tiny & not ripe. Unless you’re a Rockefeller or just have money to throw around, don’t go in there. It’s a total waste of money. Sorry, I know this sounds harsh but I was soooo disappointed as a chocolate lover & a supporter of small business.More

Hey Amanda, thanks for sharing your experience. If I may clear a couple things up... This past weekend was our busiest weekend ever, and we had a couple people call out, so I apologize for the line. As for the chocolate price, if you shop...More
