This is the best Chinese restaurant in the state of Georgia and one of the top ten in the nation. My father is from New York and I took him there and I remember his exact words after eating there. "Why have you been hiding this place from me?" Needless to say when he visits now he has to come... More

It has been a long time since we had an evening meal at Chef Lee's. The portions are so large that my wife and I shared a meal and were very satisfied. We were in a group of 8 and service was spot on. Found out later that there are "off menu" items you can order if you are familiar... More

Chinese food by name, that's all. Came here for Sunday lunch. Service was fast for a big group but the food was probably the worse I've experienced in the US. Flavorless and the place smelled and tasted of old, greasy cooking oil. And sure enough, the food was oily and greasy. Interesting though, the place was packed.

We're truly sorry to hear that your experience here was so unlike the experiences of most of our other guests. We're not sure why your meal was such a disappointment, but please rest assured we'll be looking into that. Thank you for your feedback -- we will definitely use it to improve. Best, Chef Lee's More

I am disappointed. I had been wanting to go for a while. My mom came to town and we took the kids out to eat here. Ugh, terrible service and we could not make out three of our dishes that we have eaten many times at other places. Gummy and overly sweet, yuck! We did not bother to send back.... More

As you can imagine, it's upsetting to hear you were so disapointed by the food. We're not sure what was wrong with the service that we could look into, but we do wish you'd let us know you weren't satisfied with your meal. We always want to get it right, but we can't do that if we don't know there's... More

Ordered beer. Given wrong beer. Ordered soup. It was lukewarm at best and no spoon. Waiter dropped off egg rolls and plates but was in too big of a hurry for me to request a spoon. Sent full bowl of soup back and had to actually stop him to tell him why. He didn't care or ask why. Fried rice... More

At LEAST once a month after church on Sunday, my family is headed to Chef Lee's. I think I've tried nearly everything on the menu at this point. Service is always quick, and the food is always plentiful. Dinner prices are a little on the expensive side, but lunch is cheap and filling. Service can kind of suck at times,... More

We're always glad to see you and your family, Mindy! Thanks for being regulars for so long, and thanks also for this great review. Hope we'll start seeing you more often from here on out, too! I'm sorry if the service has been a bit slow, though. We do get lunch rushes on most Sundays, since a lot of folks... More

We have been dining at Chef Lee's for over 30 years. We visited this restaurant for the first time when I was 8 and they were located across town. I moved away over 20 years ago and still have to dine at Chef Lee's every time I visit Columbus, Ga. The food is fresh, authentic and tasty. The service is... More

We can't tell you how much it means to us that you've loved our restaurant for so long! It's always a joy to have you in for a visit, and it sounds like you've consistently ordered some of our major favorites. The Mongolian beef is always a good choice, and of course, you can't go wrong with egg rolls. That... More
