After shopping in Blue Ridge, we opted for a late, light lunch at the Bier Garten. Good food and good beer.

Wanting to get away from the noise and crowd, we sat on the patio. The beer was cold and the pretzel was delicious. Even though they were understaffed, the server was friendly and spent a few minutes talking to us. We will definitely be back.

We had a late lunch. I had grilled cheese while my hubby had a sausage sandwich. I did not like my grilled cheese as I didn't like the cheese used. My hubby liked his sausage sandwich but a few hours later started feeling very poorly. Would not return.

If your looking for a taste of sausage than look no further. They have a great variety of non typical kinds. We had a sampler with 3 choices and love it. We chose pheasant, elk, and wild boar. I don't even like sausage, but I do now. You won't be disappointed. You can sit outside enjoy your food and drink... More

service was great. They make an awesome margarita. We love the lunch choices and the Ruben sandwich was amazing. German potatoes was really good.

A very nice "pub-like" atmosphere. The bartender was friendly, but not pushy. Nice selection of drinks and beer, including locally brewed beer.

Went into the restaurant and looked around...and waited for someone. A guy came out with a towel around his neck and gave us our menus. We never got a waiter/waitress to come to our table. The guy came back (obviously was not a waiter) and we said well I guess we should go because we have no one taking our... More

This has always been a highlight of our visits to the area so we brought our adult children along this time. Love the beer selection, especially local, and the giant pretzel is a must. Unfortunately, the waitstaff appears to be in the wrong line of work these days and we were more than disappointed with the rude demeanor and lack... More

The family stopped in for lunch while walking around town. If you want a good beer and sausages of all kind like elk, boar, deer, etc. this is the place to visit.

This is an OK place if you just want a good draft beer and maybe a giant pretzel and choice of 2-3 different kinds of sausages. So for lunch, it was OK. I think they could expand a little on their food choices which would bring in a bigger crowd. With that being said, the sausage was good. Sitting on... More
