We've tried this several times and each time I want it to be the "favorite, unique local spot", and it never becomes that spot. I tried the Chili skillet with potatoes and eggs over easy. The chili was runny and just ok. My wife had the Do Wa Ditty and it was good. We both asked for bagels instead of... More

Local exploring lead me to the doorstep of the Dixie Cream Cafe in downtown Windermere, FL and it was absolutely adorable! The cafe itself is very small town/everyone knows everyone type of feel. The paintings on the wall are even on sale from local artists which I find amazing. I ordered the buffalo bill chicken sandwich with shoe string fries... More

Ate lunch here after taking a boat tour in the area. Was a great great place to stop for lunch in a very quiet laid back community. So nice to get away from all the hectic tourist crowds in the Orlando area. And the food was great! Would definitely recommend.

I enjoy going to the quaint Dixie Cream Cafe and taking a friend to enjoy the delicious dishes!. Their spinach tortilla wrap stuffed with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and avocado and the vegetarian chili are two of my favorite dishes! However, all of the dishes I have had there are great! You're always greeted with a smile and the service is... More

Accidentally surprised!!! I declined to have brunch at Disneys Grand Floridian due to the hectic, well to our blessing Dixie Cream Cafe show in our yellow bring road!!! I have the worse food allergies so eating out can be challenging. This cafe is a hideout of explosion of flavors, yummy comfort foods, ambience, service, attentiveness, What a gem!! Please do... Stopped in for Breakfast and tried their brisket hash. This was very good. The biscuits are very light and large.

This is a great truly "local" place to go for breakfast or lunch with your spouse or to catch up with a friend. (Don't be surprised if you run into someone you haven't seen in a while - it's a double treat!) The food is homemade & portions are generous. If you like clean, healthy & homemade food, this is... First time at Dixie Cream. Will definitely be back. We were a party of 6,4 had breakfast and 2 had lunch. It was hard to choose from the extensive menu. Everything looked so good and the corned beef hash was excellent. The pulled pork sandwich was so large that half of it was taken home and the four cheese grilled... More

The food is okay. When we went, the service was slow and the waitress left all of the dishes on the table so it was very cluttered. She never cleared. The desserts in the glass case looked good but I didn't try any.

Thank Courtney M
