On a recent trip to West Palm, we were looking for a local (nonchain) restaurant. The Avocado Grill was the perfect find. It's an eclectic little restaurant off Detaura Street easily accessible using the free trolleys. We ate there for lunch and then again for...More
Had a nice lunch for 4 here after a visit to the Mounts Botanical Garden and its Washed Ashore trash-art exhibit. Has a funky Keys feeling with its mason jar lanterns and shutters on the wall. Parking was easy; one couple got the last spot...More
Service was rushed and impersonal. Beet salad - "where's the beet" - too small for 1 person - $13.50 !! Grilled empanada - 1/2 the size of a donut - $6.50 Avocado / tuna - fair, a little mushy Won't be going back soon.

Very different creative menu. I actually had the best tasting octopus I've ever had. Restaurant is small with inside and outside dining. Very eclectic. The food and service were wonderful and we appreciated the extensive menu.
