I cannot express how nice this place is.. it feels like home. By far this has to be one of my top picks. If you were waiting on a reason to go this is it now enjoy.
This is our new favorite breakfast spot. The prices are great and the service is always good. We’ve been 3 times, once there was a loud obnoxious patron (apparently a regular) that thought he was special. It’s never polite to take a phone call loudly...in a restaurant. Otherwise, the food and service have been awesome. Love this place. The people are so sweet.More
Wellborn Country Charm is a quaint, little country restaurant located in Wellborn, Fl. Big servings, great food, awesome staff and owner. Had the senior breakfast, biscuit, gravy, two eggs, hash browns and coffee...$4.99!!! So glad they were able to reopen after the COVID episode. The...owner does the cooking and she does it well! Will definitely return!!More
Weather it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner they are right on top of it. Great Southern food and service. We have tried just about everything thing on there menu and every meal was great . Only had one time the meat was tough and they repacked...it ASAP. Prices are average for this area. Great place to eat and friendly atmosphere.More

The restaurant is in a very small town on the outskirts of Lake City. The restaurant is a very cute country themed restaurant was glad it was a clean restaurant food was good but not as much country vegetables like most country restaurant I hope...they will start serving more selection of home cooked vegetables and more deserts.More
The Charm is a small and quaint place located in our small town. It replaced another restaurant that closed down. We went there for lunch right after they opened and thought it was ok, but nothing special. Today, we took some family there for breakfast....I wish I hadn't. It took a while to get some coffee and when we finally did, the cups all had spoons in them. My wife's coffee cup had some stuff floating on top. She took the spoon out and the spoon had a bunch of goop still stuck on the spoon. If that spoon was washed, it wasn't washed very well. They did give us our coffee for free, which was a nice touch. Just a personal note for mgmt...your wait staff should not serve customers while clothed in a heavily food stained shirt. Another mgmt note...most people like real butter for various breakfast items. Your butter substitute spread, all melted down in the little containers, detracts from the quality of your food. My wife's over easy eggs and beef hash was good. My ham and cheese omelet was way less than loaded, unless you include the hash brown potatoes thrown in it. I don't believe 4 or 5 extremely small pieces of diced ham should equate to a ham and cheese omelet. I'm a Southerner and I know what grits should taste like and what consistency they should be. The big pile of dried grits you served me was disappointing, to say the least. I believe if you go here for breakfast and order eggs with a side of bacon, toast and coffee (no spoon please), you'll be satisfied. I hope they improve things because I really want to like this place. I'll give it another try later and hope for the best.More
My dad was a traveling salesman and always taught me: If you want to find a good, local diner and get the heck away from Fast Food and Chains? ... look in the parking lot of a restaurant for a packed house and local license...plates. My Dad would know, and I always have abided by that. So in March 2019 we rented a place on the Suwannee River near Mayo, Florida, and we heard a new place had opened up nearby and tried it. Look ... we've done the chains -- we want unique. We were curious about the Old Brick Road through Wellborn that came 100 years ago -- and is still there (took a picture). There's a ton of history in this area ... the Old Bellamy Road, Stephen F. Foster's song, the "S'wann Ribber" ... we were just curious. So we were starving and hit Wellborn's Country Charm around 1 p.m.-ish ... but breakfast was still fully available (apparently all day) and the lunch offerings (and apparently dinner) are just as good as the breakfast. Meatloaf? Apparently it's already getting a big-time rep in Wellborn. Liver and Onions? The waitress told us she thought this dish wouldn't sell ... WRONG. It was interesting to hear from the wait staff what has blown through the ceiling. And the pies? Don't get me started. If you like pies .... We just wanted to have a nice super late breakfast and it did not disappoint. The B&G was of the grilled variety, which I personally love a grilled biscuit, not a mushy doughy one, ya know? Brandy's French Toast was tasty (my wife ordered), the kids loved the way they made the scrambled eggs ... the bacon wasn't skimpy. The kids were very happy. And hey, the service? These ladies know what they're doing, and it showed. They're friendly, never let the drink get below halfway without fixing it. We love the off-the-beaten-path location, love the Motif. Seems like a place where the people love working together. We'll be back.More
