This place was a short walk from where we were staying at the Courtyard. We ate here twice. Sunday. Monday. Sunday was busy. Monday was calm and relaxing. First time. We both had the Corned beef hash and eggs. Great. Corned Beef Hash was perfectly brown and crispy. Not like the soggy mess you normally get. Second time. Got the... More

We visited here for the first time two weeks ago. We were immediately greeted and seated with a smile and cordial conversation. Our waitress (Bianca) was bubbly, friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and she made sure to introduce the new dishes. I chose the Avocado Swiss Chicken sandwich with side salad and my husband chose Marbled Rye Reuban with... More

Good food at a reasonable price with great service. Definitely come on Wednesdays for a free piece of pie. Mostly breakfast but with a twist. There are otheritems: burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads and main dishes. The pot roast is great. So many pies to choose from made in the restaurant. Open till 2 am and 24 hours on weekends. Multiple... More

GREAT breakfast place! Love their Hot chocolate!!! Lol If in Tampa and with a hungry belly PLEASE give this place a chance! The venue itself is not top notch BUT their quality of food makes up for it. Their servers offer a very good service too! So go and enjoy!

From the manager who greats you at the door with a smile and great attitude to the friendly quick staff. Go more than once in a while and they remember who you are. Even if you're not a regular, they treat you as if you were,

Stopped by for dinner. Employees were very polite. Ordered the steak with a salad and mashed potatoes. Salad was nice and crisp. Steak was cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes were not edible. Server very nicely exchanged them for some ok fries. Cherry pie slice I took with me for later was excellent!

From the outside, I thought this place would be a little seedy and run down, like an old Howard Johnson's, but I was totally wrong. The inside has a funky retro look and feel. The entryway wall is covered with photos that tell the story of the restaurant and introduce you to the chain's founder and family. The food was... More

Visited this place while in Tampa. Didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Ultimate Skillet with the multi grain pancakes. The skillet came with 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, potstoes, cheese, peppers and onions. Man it was good and a lot of food!! You can actually share this with another person. It was well worth... More

Day #1 - My wife and I were seated right away in a private booth. Water served to us immediately and waiter took our order promptly. Hot, tasty breakfast food abundant. Day #2 - Returned next day with 8 people and again seated immediately. Breakfast foods served hot, fresh and again tasty. Very polite servers. Busy and full of people... More

I'd never heard of Village Inn before, but it was the closest restaurant when I was running late so I tried it. The menu was extensive, and I was surprised at how many items came with '3 pancakes.' I saw those at the next table, and the pancakes alone would make a full meal. I had a huevos rancheros burrito... More
