After hearing and reading much about this we decided to try it out! I would give the food a 4, but the service and ambiance a 5+! Would definitely go again! The tableside sangrias were fantastic!!

This restaurant is definitely beautiful inside and its worth the wait time. Food however is ok. Not a place I'm dying to go back to because the quality is not impressive but its a must have experience if you are in Tampa.

The food is just ok. Super, super salty. I have been several times (work, family, etc.) Hoping that the previous time was just a fluke, but I always leave feeling cotton mouthed. There is better Cuban fare throughout Tampa. The salad is pretty darn good...More

Wish you had a separate rating for servers. While the food was good our server was not. Has to be one of the worst I’ve ever had. Seemed to have no idea about the different dishes or wine selections. Didn’t know the ingredients in the...More

We do have a kids menu, you can find it on our website. Trip Advisor rules don't allow me to post a link to our website, but you can find it at Columbia Restaurant and add the usual dot and then the com ending.

Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Serving lunch & dinner daily. Reservations accepted. In addition to award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine, the Columbia features flamenco dance performances nightly, Monday - Saturday. The Hernandez Gonzmart family has been making restaurant history since 1905 when they opened their landmark Columbia Restaurant, which today is Florida's Oldest RestaurantSM. Today, 4th & 5th generation family members work hard to preserve the family's legacy that their great-grandfather Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. created over 113 years ago when he opened the Columbia as a corner café frequented by local cigar workers. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Our guests enjoy many of the same century-old family recipes that have made the Columbia famous like Paella "a la Valenciana," Snapper "Alicante," and the Original Cuban Sandwich. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside.
