My improv team performed here last Thursday night during an "open mike night" type of occasion in conjunction with Garbage Theater. There were three other improv teams and we really had fun bringing it. The setting is shabby chic in a somewhat rundown strip mall. The fountain drinks and malteds they were serving looked amazing but I can't say that... More

My husband and I stopped in for a Latte. Now mind you there were no customers in the building. My arrival was not acknowledged. I made her notice me and she says just a minute. I smiled and said sure. We waited 7 minutes. While the girl dug through a box of cords looking for a certain one. Then she... More

This is a cool place with hot coffee, delicious pizza and salads. Karen is the owner and she has everything under control. She knows how to let the good times roll. There is wi-fi and entertainment and more. So come on down!

So I went there because my 2 of my friends were going to perform for one of their TOO MANY open mic. My friend and I just got done eating at Petra ( resturant across the street), and really didn't want any drinks just yet. Well, I was on my period and asked the lady if I could go use... More

This place is for hippie wannabes! The owner is rude. Everything is too loud and the place was full of teenagers singing awful poetry. It's way too expensive. A group of friends and I went. One girl in our group of 7 or 8 didn't order anything and she was told to stay and hang out, she had to buy... More

I have been a regular here since I was sixteen years old. Great crowd. Friendly people. Awesome staff. I always feel at home no matter how long it's been between visits I get a warm genuine welcome when I walk through the door. If you haven' t found a place to be comfortable in Tampa, this is it.

Upon moving to Florida from Columbus, OH, I was upset that there were no quaint coffee shops filled with activists, hippies, goths, and other caffeine addicts alike. Then I found Sacred Grounds. This is a coffee shop person's coffee shop--if you catch my drift. They have many coffee selections, teas, some light foods, and ice creams. They also have a... More

We love going to SG just to hang out, and always end up meeting interesting people. Their coffees and teas are exquisite, and they don't rush making them. Prices are comparable to the chains, maybe a little above. Karen and crew are the friendliest people you'll ever find working behind the bar. The place is especially pleasant if you love... More

The best, most relaxed and most comfortable coffeehouse in Tampa, if not the state. Fantastic organic coffee, made by very experienced craftspeople of espresso. Never a bad shot. Very open and friendly place. LGBT-friendly.
