I cant tell you with 100% accuracy that the place is dirty - I can only tell you I felt it was. First, my tea cup has remnants from someone else's lips - like food chunks - on it and no one seemed to notice. The easter bunny on the shelf next to me had gobs and gobs of dust-bunnies... More

ok...wow...first let me say...omg!!! I am soooo sorry that was your perception of our sweet Tea Room...I totally got right up form the computer and went to find the "bunny"... you are so right...I pulled it immediately and corrected that...second went into the kitchen and raised a large fuss about "vaping", again...corrected, I promise you that!! as far as the... The service, food and mimosas were excellent. Waffles were fluffy and breakfast items were plentiful and just lovely. The two owners were so pleasant and sweet. It was a busy Sunday with two privat parties going on while we were there but the service was really attentive. I highly recommend this tea room.

I've been here a few times and previous visits were alright. What has been consistent is that the food and tea were great but the service was lacking. My most recent visit was no exception. I went recently with friends and it took nearly 10 minutes for anyone to notice that we were waiting to be seated. The food took... More

Today I took a friend visiting from out of town to Empress Tea Room for high tea. There was a large group there having a meeting & socializing and the noise level was frustrating. It was totally distracting & made what could have been a relaxing tea time visiting with my friend - difficult. I've visited many tea rooms &... More

The owners and staff make us feel like a million bucks. Their food is fantastic. Scones are out of this world. The teas are excellent. Very welcoming atmosphere. Great spot.

Birthday high tea was excellent. The ambiance is consistent with English tea rooms in the US. Our service was great. The teas were flavorful, the finger sandwiches were very tasty. My favorite was the chicken salad. The fruit and scones were great. We elected to have soup before tea. The potato sausage soup was very good. This was a delightful... More

Having had High Tea at various other "Tea Houses" I had a pretty good idea what to expect. The table setting was lovely, the wait staff polite and helpful, but the food needs some improvements. We ladies had a fabulous time, but in my opinion, the finger sandwiches especially the cucumber needed more filling. The crostini should be replaced with... More

Having experienced High Tea at multiple venues and regions previously, we expected a lovely decorated venue which this was. A main purpose of a Tea Room is the atmosphere and environment. Unfortunately, the scene could have been set better with some strains of stringed background music. it was shocking there were shrieking children in attendance at one of the parties.... More
