This is a wonderful restaurant. If you are alone, you can sit up at the counter where they make pizzas and chat with the cook. The food is great the atmosphere is great. Staff very friendly.

They have the best pizza here. The service is great and I love to watch them make the pizza in the wood fired oven. The tiramisu was great too. Can't wait to go back again!

We wanted to find a quiet place to have dinner the night before an early wake up call to get to the airport. We had thought of nearby Eddie & Sam's, rated slightly better on TripAdvisor for pizza than this place, but the "quiet" part...More

A couple of observations: first, Naples style pizza is nothing like American pizza and is meant to be eaten with a fork and knife; and second, Bavaro’s nailed it. I lived in Naples, Italy for 3 years and this is the flavor and texture that...More

This is a cute little Italian restaurant in downtown Tampa. Limited menu but good food. It's small but cute.

The founder and Pizzaiolo, Dan Bavaro spent three years researching, training and traveling throughout the US and Italy to gather his vision and craft of pizza Napoletana. "Our pizza is thin and soft with a slight crisp to the crust while topped with the finest ingredients imported from Italy or locally grown and organic. Our food is an art form, which is prepared with passion as I was taught by fifth generation, Neapolitan families. One teaching the oven and the other pizza Napoletana." In addition to our Neapolitan pizza we have a variety of home-made pastas, soups and desserts which are made fresh on location and from scratch. Our ingredients are either imported from Italy or locally grown and organic.
