Don't let first appearances fool you. Great down home cooking. Fried chicken, chicken livers, roast beef, pork shank, collard greens, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, fried shrimp, rolls, corn bread...I could go on. In our travels, stop in and have a seat.

The young man (teenager?) at the front met me with "What do you want to drink?" I had never been here before so had no idea what he was talking about. He pointed to the chart so I could see what was offered. No smiles, no conversation and I soon realized why-he spent the whole time on his cell phone,... More

I like to go to a place where they serve something other what you expect. There was real southern food there and it was all good. No one would be disappointed. The variety would satisfied anyone in the family.

Very good buffet. Always great food and plenty of it. If you leave hungry it is your own fault. Great variety. One caution, watch out for kids with inadequate parental supervision.

Absolutely enjoyed our lunch here. Oxtails were fantastic! And the cheese grits? off the chain. Great selection and friendly staff.

I have eaten at Old and NEW Times for years. I remember when they opened, I knew they would eventually put Barnhills out of business. The food was delicious. It is not that it isn't good now... It is a hit and miss experience at times. Good today/fresh or not good. Food looks at times to have been there a... More

Great local flavors including fried chicken, fried okra, black eyed peas, and sweet potato pie. The price was right and the buffet was great. Our waitress was on the ball. I will be back !

We ate here for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, especially the sweet tea, steak and mac-n-cheese. Although there were no labels on the buffet we were able to identify most of the items. The staff were friendly and attentive. The place could use some updating for sure, but we would come again.

We stopped to eat while visiting and had a pleasant experience. Don't let the age of the buiding discourage you. The price was good for the variety of food items and everything we chose was well seasoned. Nothing fancy but if your looking for a cheap buffet lunch this is the place.
