This is a great breakfast treat. The food is all home made and most of the selections you would not find on a menu in most restaurants. .It is our favorite place when we are in Florida. My wife had the Corn Beef Hash special. She said it was the best she has ever had. I had the biscuits and... More

A friend set up a breakfast meeting at the Oasis Cafe and I'm so glad he did. What a wonderful local jewel, tucked away in a tree covered strip of small establishments. It's located near the turn on to Osprey just passed the Publix on Bay. I enjoyed my egg sandwich very much. There were so many different choices for... More

I have eaten here for many years and this is the first time I have written a review here. I have NEVER had a bad meal here. They always seem to come up with an out of the ordinary version of something simple. Always an imaginative twist to something as simple as a meatloaf sandwich. Just plain good eats

I had two poached eggs and multi-grain toast. The eggs were watery and under-down. I sent them back to the kitchen to be cooked a little longer. There was nothing special about the multi-grain toast. They sold two versions of gluten-free muffins (the flavors probably change frequently): Cranberry Walnut Banana Chocolate-Chip I tried the Banana Chocolate-Chip. This muffin was good... More

Service was quick and friendly. Food tasted good and was good quality. I got the Bear Creek pancakes which were surprisingly amazing. Food was on the pricey side, but that is somewhat typical for this area.

Food here is good. Owner is rude. Seated at 1:20, served at 1:45, at 2 the owner and server started taking up our dishes while we were still eating. Then told us they closed at 2. Bad service. Not worth it with so many other good restaurants in Sarasota.

We ate Sunday brunch yesterday at the Oasis cafe, as we have many times before. We have known the owners for years and reminisced about their very interesting history here in Sarasota, having founded the original Broken Egg on Siesta Key, then the original Serving Spoon in Southside Village. There are excellent selections for both lunch and breakfast, with many... More

The Oasis Cafe is located on the intersection of South Osprey ave. and Siesta Drive. Parking is located in the front of the restaurant and also in the rear of the restaurant. We are a family run restaurant who's first restaurant was The Original Broken Egg opened in 1985 when the Palermo's had just two children. Since the first restaurant Jim Palermo has been hitting breakfast and lunch spot on. While Melissa Palermo is a leading baker in Sarasota. She can make anything from a delicious boston creme pie to simple brownies that melt in your mouth. Open for Brunch on Sundays from 8-1:30pm serving up delicious breakfast specials such as stuffed french toast, and incredible potatoes. During the week and Saturdays we are open from 7:00am-2:00pm.The Oasis Cafe is a great spot to pick up a lunch for your picnic before the beach, a spot of coffee or tea before work, and great for large parties of families and friends in from out of town.
