When you walk in the restaurant the aroma takes you to Italy. I plan to work my way through, the menu. The vegetables ARE fresh market vegetables, that are prepared with perfection. When I am in Sarasota I will always make a trip here. The service is fabulous as well.

We have dined here at least six times and have never been disappointed! It as a warm, friendly family operated business that serves some of the best Italian food I've had. The dishes we've ordered have been classic - veal parmesan and marsala; lasagna, and wonderful pasta dishes. I enjoy the Enzo salad with oranges and balsamic dressing. You have... More

Family food, excellent, substantial finely executed. You have the sense you're eating in a family home. Sharing the Romana salad was a good idea, HUGE. The veal Marsala was elegant, the eggplant parmigiana was devoured. We skipped desert, stuffed! An out of the way find! Manga.

What a great find. A very authentic Italian restaurant. Family owned with a great menu. We all had a different dish that was great. Ask for recommendations from the server. Portions are large. Will definitely stop there again when in the area.

So nice to return here after almost a year and to find that it is as good as ever - if not better. The younger son has taken over running the restaurant and he is doing a very good job. The food continues to be the best Italian cuisine in the area, much more delicate and interesting than the traditional... More

Greeted warmly by the son of the chef. Nice ambiance in the restaurant, service a little slow. We took our own bottle of wine..no corkage fee..that's a plus! Breaded shrimp appetizer hot and well cooked..served with a very fresh marinara sauce but no spice. Veal Marsala was well cooked and tender but the sauce was more gravy like in consistency... More

Went for first time for dinner with friends who are regulars. We were greeted cordially by a family member, and seated promptly. The place was not crowded on a Saturday evening, which struck us as odd for an excellent Sarasota restaurant. That may be due to its location, which is a bit off the beaten path that a tourist might... More

Nice atmosphere. Good service. Family owned and operated. Food was average and uninspired. We wanted to really like it, but not particularly memorable. Tight portion control.

We took the whole family here last night while vacationing in Sarasota. For starters the service was excellent. We were greeted by an extremely kind and thoughtful server. We had a small child with us and he brought a small dish of pasta out with the appetizers. Very thoughtful! I especially enjoyed the ambiance. The music was soothing and the... More

We visited this small, intimate restaurant on a very slow Tuesday evening ( only one other table was occupied during our meal). Despite the website referencing a 'Two for $30' special, we were told that it wasn't available because the kitchen was 'undergoing renovations'. Our party of 6 ordered off of the regular menu, and while our meal was tasty,... More
