My husband and I walked in and their decor was not as I imagined. It was very rich and cozy, with a delicious meat market sharing the building. I had read about Guy Fieri doing part of an episode at this location, so of course my curiosity got to me when I was visiting the Sarasota area. Waitstaff was very... More

The waitstaff is very friendly. Great choice on the menu with specialty of meat. You can also buy at the deli counter meat or many delicious pre-cooked items. Stuffed mushrooms are excellent. The earthy coleslaw is fantastic.

The corned beef and cabbage is so good here. I don't know if they serve it all year long but St Paddy's Day we are here! Year after year always better each time.

Our party was looking for a steakhouse for dinner, and decided on the Alpine Steakhouse. They have cuts of meat in the coolers where you can see what you are going to get, which was cool. I ordered the ribs, our guests ordered fish with salad. They for got the cheese on their salad, but quickly rectified it when pointed... More

A very casual "Steak" house. Locals love it. Frequent visitor for quality meats at a very affordable price. Very plain looking

Starting with a gorgonzola salad, which was great. Then went to the turducken dinner which was very good. Wife had prime rib and is still smiling, and thought the fries were also top notch. Will return with visitors as a place to impress.

Good price and good food, a little bit on the outdated side but its old diner charm is also what makes it special. The roast beef sandwich w/ au jus is a good one, as well as the fish sandwich. Good portion sizes, never felt skimpy. Deli is also a nice change from the normal restaurant scene.

We have been shopping the market side of Alpine for years. You will not find better quality or variety in a meat/deli anywhere. Our favorite stock-up is the dozen or more homemade soups, chili, goulash, bisque, etc. from their made-for-the-restaurant supply, frozen fresh in quart sizes that are a perfect meal for two. If you want a different "quick" meal... More
