Mozaic restaurant previously had cuisine issues. Not true any longer. Chef Ash has breathed a new life into Mozaic with his wonderful , innovative, fresh cuisine. Great wine list! Superb service. A must when visiting Sarasota.

Using the Savor Sarasota menu, my wife and I chose the soup of the day (shrimp chowder) and the Thai curry carrot soup, which were both delicious. These was followed by the crab cake (not cakes, as the waitress warned me) and the ceviche -...More

I've heard so much about this restaurant and was looking forward to it. Maybe our expectations were too high. The carrot curry soup was good as were the appetizers. The entrees fell a bit short. The scallops were good. The skirt steak chimichurri was a...More

Fine dining. Exquisite flavors. Delish desserts. Always have GF options & chef understands celiac isn't a trendy eating thing. Strong wine list & service. Small, intimate space. Get rez if you plan to go.

Definitely one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had! The restaurant area is dark and dingy and in desperate need of modernisation. We looked at the menu which seemed reasonable, two of our party ordered a ‘special’ of Red Snapper in a curry...More

Our goal at Mozaic is to exceed our customer’s expectations… However, some circumstances prove to be more challenging than others. First of all, our décor is not dark and dingy. The interior decor is that of bright citrus colors. There were two comments made that...More

We chose this restaurant as not many open Easter Sunday evening and the menu looked good. We sat outside as it was a warm evening, ordered a bottle of wine (even the cheapest was expensive at $39) and ordered from the set menu. After a...More

Although we only visit Mozaic during our annual visit to the Sarasota Opera, it means so much that the head waiter, Jeff, always remembers us and greets us with a handshake and a smile. The flame grilled quail with farro and swiss chard is superb....More

Description
At Mozaic, we are committed to a guest-friendly cuisine that is seasonal and market driven, utilizing fruits and vegetables from local farmers and seafood from surrounding waters. Mozaic's dinner menu features an exciting variety of polished dishes ranging from starters and small plates to hearty entrees and indulgent desserts. Our new modern American small plate menu emphasizes sharing and seasonality, served with a side of Mozaic’s signature artistic flair. Our cuisine is not defined by a specific geographical area, but rather reflects a mosaic of cultures and influences. The ingredients we use are sourced locally whenever possible and are not strange or exotic, but really quite familiar and the flavors are intoxicating.
