From a baby to 100 years old this is place is great. Food is so good, especially the oysters. Service is fast and friendly. You may eat indoors or outdoors. Each place has its own bar.

very long wait, seated, then ignored for 10 minutes by our waitress, 2 tables came in after our small group and were waited on before us.... I don't understand why they have good ratings, the service sucked.

Visiting the area for Xmas vacation with family and this venue was recommended by the locals. Six adults and 2 children with everyone ordering something different. Each dish was very good. Very laid back relaxed atmosphere with acceptable noise levels. Pleasant waitress who offered accurate suggestions. A bit pricey for the type of food being offered but seems like all... More

My sister and I had a great meal here with great service. I had fish tacos--they were great. The only negative which the restaurant can't control is that we got eaten up by "noseeums!"

Good place if you like shrimp and lobster dishes. Other fish dishes were not that great. We tried different fish sandwiches and meals which are average with other seafood restaurants. We found out fish fingers were great and fresh compared to any where else we tried. We also tried their special fish sandwich and found out it was average as... More

We ordered a veggie burger with the bean/rice side. My 8 year old would have eaten the entire thing but we split because of the price. The burger was good, but other than that, or a salad, there was not really anything on the menu for a vegan. It would be great if restaurants would keep in mind that vegans... More

We decided to drive up to Captiva to see the rest of the island. On our way back, we ate at Doc Ford's and were not disappointed to say the least. Our shrimp were delicious and I even bought the signed book that was written by his friend.

We ordered burgers and a lobster roll. All food was good but it took quite a while for a small lunch crowd. Would go back but don't be in a hurry.

Very large seafood restaurant with lots to offer every palate! You have a hard time deciding on all the choices! Good coconut shrimp too! You were offered many jars of condiments to accompany your seafood picks, our fav was pineapple chutney. Thanks Steve n Terry
