Friendly, upbeat staff serving excellent pool side fare in a fun and inviting atmosphere. The best part of our experience at Casa Ybel Resort was Coconuts. We were always served with a smile and everything we had was very good. I especially enjoyed the margherita flatbread.

Fun and vibrant beach cabana bar with lively staff, great menu and awesome views of the ocean. Best Purple haze and flatbread with mango BBQ chicken and smoked Gouda.

Coconuts is a pool bar overlooking the gulf. The food is prepared and cooked in an outdoor open kitchen - we experienced great service and better than expected food. From chicken fingers and wings to the salads and hamburgers - everything was great. The only disappointment was closing time - we ordered drinks a few mins before 5 and tried... More

We made a point of stopping a Coconuts on this trip because we had read wonderful things about it -- live music, great drinks, resort atmosphere -- and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The bartenders are awesome -- they are humorous, friendly, welcoming, personable, and operate as a "team." We enjoyed all of them very much. Their cocktails... More

Parking on Sanibel can be a pain. We stumbled upon Thistle Lodge which is in Casa Ybel Resort. It feels like you shouldn't be there, but you can be. We parked for free and wandered over the patio to coconuts. Glad we did. Fun bartenders, nice music (live in the afternoon), and then we headed over to enjoy the beach... More

Stopped for lunch with family. We were told it would take about 30 minutes for our food. An hour later we had to ask where our meals were. Verrry poor service for an expensive meal of a small size & no choice but to pay a mandatory 18% tip. More than a disappointment!

the staff was very fun, attentive and the food was very good pub food. When I let Chris my waiter know that my hamburger was overcooked, he immediately replaced it. Should have replaced the fries as they were cold.

We walked the beach, shelling, and stopped in for a drink. Beautiful grounds. The bar is a the Casa Ybel pool, it was a busy spot. The bartenders were friendly and made a great drink. Will return!

We were staying at the hotel, so the walk over was the best. The staff appear to work together, so there was someone always at our beck and call. Guitar player playing some nice island music was so relaxing. But the food was the real surprise. We enjoyed a flatbread and a chicken sandwich which I savored every bite. Now... More
