WOW! What a great find! I just can't believe we waited over 10 years to try this restaurant! Our food was delicious! I had the chicken picccata with spinach and my husband had the penne pasta with eggplant! Both were yummy! The bread and dipping sauce is very unique and you will want more! The service was excellent and everyone... More

Just enjoyed a delicious Italian meal at Cafe Cibo. Though a Florida visitor, I prefer to venture out to non-touristy restaurants. This small cafe offered casual, indoor or outdoor dining. All the food was homemade, filling and served by a friendly staff.

Great older cafe. All the meals and bread are made onaite. The dipping sauce for the bread was heavenly, and the sauces, meats, and pastas are excellent.

I had never heard of Café Cibo. When looking at reviews online, it seemed to be very popular. So we gave it a try. Every neighborhood needs a great, little Italian restaurant and this is it for north St Petersburg. Upon arrival we didn’t find the restaurant to be terribly inviting. The entrance is hidden in the rear, the grounds... More

Other restaurants have very good food as this place has. Others have great waitstaff as does Cafe Cibo. Others have very reasonable prices as does this restaurant. What others do not have are; 1) the excellent bread and incredible dip for the bread; and, 2) music that is appropriate(light Italian, a bit of opera) that is seriously used as background... More

I lunched here with a group of at least 20 women ordering a range of items from their extensive menu. There was an enormous meatball sandwich or the ability to create a custom pasta bowl , or more traditional Italian entrees with the opportunity to choose a lunch sized portion for less money. I enjoyed a linguine bolognese. Their garlic... More

For years this place was outstanding. The food was great and the price was right but lately it's gotten tired. Our last couple of meals there left a bit to be desired. The pizza was rubbery and the eggplant parm was prepared days ago and just warmed up.The daily specials are the same daily specials week in week out.The place used to be... Our favorite restaurant for years. The best Italian restaurant in the Tampa Bay area! The bread and dipping sauce should be bottled and sold st the door! Don't forget to get a cannoli!

We went for dinner on New Years Eve and had a really wonderful meal. We each got pasta and shared a bottle of wine. The bread they bring you to begin with is really good, and the sauce it comes with is TO DIE FOR! The food was really good - portions are huge so we had lunch for the... More

I don't know what they put in that sauce they serve with the bread, but it's ridiculously yummy!! Very casual and family friendly spot. The homemade pasta is wonderful...and how great the offer in two portion sizes. The chocolate mousse cake is divine as well. Thanks for a wonderful meal!!
