We saw the cafe and had to stop. We had an array of of goodies such as a tortilla espanola, Plato de queso, agua de Barcelona and fruit infused water. We enjoyed it very much. The portions were just right to share as we were taking a break at the Dali museum.

We had lunch at the Cafe before we explored the museum. The Gazpacho was excellent, and my pressed serenitas was excellent, my husband enjoyed the ham and white bean soup with his pressed sandwich. I had the white Sangria and it was light and delicious and had strawberries, kiwi and orange in it! It was a bit too breezy to... More

We did see some folks enjoying wine, but it was a little early for us. Instead we had the wraps with tea and enjoyed that out in the garden area. Everything was good.

Visit the Cafe Gala,(the casual eatery featuring a light menu with a Spanish theme) for an enjoyable meal while viewing the museum building. The perfect end to a wonderful visit. Named for Salvador Dali’s wife Gala, the Cafe features the heritage of Salvador Dali. The menu is a Spanish theme featuring Tapas, appetizers, traditional pastries, soups, salads and sandwiches. Stopped to grab a drink and a snack, and was so pleasantly surprised at the selection of items and the quality. The cafe con leche was delicious, and my husband and son enjoyed the macchiatos.

First of all, there is nothing bad to be said about the Dali Museum. It is a visual masterpiece, the staff is always friendly, and what a better wrap up than tapas at Cafe Gala and a glass of wine? Perhaps a stroll through the garden afterwards. Must do if you come - can't rate it much higher than that!!

A friend of mine and I were very pleasantly surprised to discover that this cafe was almost equally as enjoyable as the museum itself. The view through the hurricane windows looking out onto the water was spectacular. And sitting right next to the magnificent steel girders that housed the building was awe inspiring as well. You feel like you are... More

Stopped and got a soda and water before we headed back to the Gulf. The Café Gala was getting ready to close.

We almost passed on this cafe but luckily we didn't! The food is beautifully prepared and delicious. I am gluten-free and the chef was able to steer me to a number of choices. You can sit inside if it's hot BUT we enjoyed the outside patio! It adds to an amazing museum!

If you don't want to buy lunch, get a cup of coffee and sip it outside in their garden. They serve it in real cups just like in Europe.
