Found this place on Google. Great cuban sandwich for lunch, came back a day later for dinner: morros y cristianos, pernil, extra black beans and maduros (fried sweet plaintains). All very good.

Wonderful authentic Cuban cuisine. Pork, yellow rice and green beans all very good. Will definitely return when we are in the area.
I was born and raised in South Florida, and although I am not Cuban, I love Cuban food. This place is the real deal. Not only is the food great, but the staff so friendly! I liked this place so much I FaceTimed a Cuban...friend from Miami to show him the restaurant and food. I will 100% go back the next time I am in Saint Petersburg.More
Good Cuban food in a very casual atmosphere. They offer about 5 entrees and various sides, ordered cafeteria style in a line when entering, then food is brought to your table. Get your own bottled or fountain beverages. Several entrees and sides were not labeled...so we had to ask what they were. The place was very busy at lunchtime and the food we had - one roast pork and a double order of chicken empanadas - was good. They do have an outdoor area with tables but it was Congo hot on the day we were there so no one sat outside. On a nice day the atmosphere and eating area seemed like it would be better outdoors than indoors. We'd go back when we wanted good Cuban food but weren't looking for a really pleasant dining atmosphere.More
We were blessed to have Pipo’s as a food option for the Tampa Bay Blues Fest. To say they were delicious would be an understatement. Their chicken paella was incredible and a meal we ate 2 of the three days! We cannot stress enough how...delicious this restaurant is. Go enjoy!More
Amazing! The best menu and great service! Great stop for us from AMI to Tampa. Don’t let the old sign out front scare you. Everything was delicious!!
I have to admit, chicken and sandwich was good. But other food we tried not good. Beef was like jerky and salad leaves were injured. Ambiance and staffs were great.
Service was good. The order system was great, explaining of different foods, good. The timely arrival, of the food. Portions were large, the food looked good. It’s Christmas we are celebrating with family an this added to our pleasure.
Better for Take out, Cuban food is diverse and has fair pricing in like corporate park locations. I never tried their desserts.
So glad we found this gem. Lots of variety for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The food is presented cafeteria-style so you can see the selections before ordering. Service is fast and the staff was very friendly. The yuca, perfectly seasoned with mojo, was the tastiest...and tenderest I've ever had. Black beans were tasty, moros rice with onion was very good, and plantains were ripe and on point. Complimentary Cuban bread was a nice surprise and we used it to enjoy the mojo sauce. They had desserts which I'm sure are yummy, but the veggie plates filled us up. And we've spent 2 weeks traveling in Cuba, so we know the real thing when we taste it. PS about photo: there was even more food here - I was so eager to dig in that I forgot to take a photo! It tasted even better than the photo looks!More
The food tasted great. Good value for the price. The service excellent and staff friendly. We felt right at home on our first visit. We will comeback.
The food here is simply amazing! The portions are fresh and huge. The staff was so nice. I will definitely be going back! I can’t say enough good things about their food
We were very impressed with everything we ordered tonight…meatloaf, chicken paella, red beans, mashed potatoes, plantains…..and let’s not forget the homemade sangria ! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We will be back!
Another good place to eat. Try the pork and grouper. Yummy 😋… Gotta have the rice and plantains as your sides. We usually eat here 2x during our week stay.. And ya can’t go wrong with the rooster 🐓 outside, lol….
Husband & I ate here for dinner. He had roasted chicken which was not warm at all. I had the stuffed grouper which was dried out from the heat lamp & the stuffing was a tasty but gooey mess which I could not make myself...eat. We both had black beans & yellow rice as our sides and they were excellent. The hot from the oven buttered Cuban bread was wonderful. The restaurant was pretty busy and everyone seemed to be happy with their meals. Perhaps we chose the wrong things. Disappointed.More
