We stopped here for lunch and were completely impressed. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and elegant. The pizza was delicious. The cream of mushroom soup was perfect. The service was impeccable. I haven't enjoyed lunch this much in a long time.

Hubby and I came here for lunch on a Tuesday. We were one of 5 tables at 12:30pm so service was quick and attentive. The building is beautiful. The dining room is where the largest indoor pool used to be. We didn't check out the Lightner Museum, but if you enjoy antique furniture/knick knacks, I hear it's worth a look.... More

After touring the Lightner Museum we stopped for coffee and pastries at Cafe Alcazar which we viewed from the third floor former ballroom. The area was the former swimming pool when the building was built as the Alcazar hotel, an extension of other hotels built or bought by Henry Flagler. The pastries were wonderful and coffee was generously poured while... More

Okay food if your interested in a light lunch. The service was excellent and very friendly. A little pricey for mostly soup salad and sandwiches and didn't have a large selection. The atmosphere was the best. Eating inside a pool with antique shops around was interesting.

The restaurant is located in what was once a pool of a fine hotel. It is surrounded by little shops and quite unique. The food is good for lunch, but I don't know if they even serve dinner. It is one of the restaurants that you won't find in every/most places you visit.

So cool to eat lunch at the bottom of a swimming pool! The fascinating history, wonderful ambiance, delicious food and perfect wine pairings make this an excellent choice for lunch!

Had lunch here, location was once an indoor swimming pool. Group of nine, everyone raved about their selections. Great menu, will be back for sure!

This was one of our stops on a City Food Tour. We were served appetizers of hummus and escargot. The hummus and crostini were good but we felt the escargot was overcooked and a bit dry. The broth and cheese were all dried up on the plate. Atmosphere is good and it is a neat place. It is an indoor... More

Years ago this room was an indoor swimming pool for the rich. Such a fun experience to sit in this historic environment and enjoy a meal. The escargots were outstanding and the simple but oh so delicious pizza was terrific. Try the homemade wine....A must stop!

Looking for fresh light fare this little cafe has it. Sandwiches and sides were delightful. The waiter was as well recommending the curry chicken salad and telling my wife if she didn't enjoy it he would switch it out. Needless to say a switch was not required. A nice change from the heavier delights around town.
