Excellent food and service once we finally found the entrance at the back of the Lightner Museum. My delicious Caprese salad was not large but just what I wanted; the portion sizes of my friends' meals (mostly sandwiches) were quite generous.

We met a couple on our Queen Victoria cruise through the Panama Canal who invited us to visit them in St. Augustine. So we decided to meet at the Café Alcazar. What an elegant setting for a restaurant, it was like taking a step back in time. The Alcazar hotel was built in 1888 by Henry Flagler. The restaurant is... More

I loved this place. Another hidden gem in st Augustine. Literally hidden in the side entrance of the lightner museum. Only open for lunch I went there for a lunch with my two kids. The atmosphere is wonderful and someone is there playing e piano through your meal. Will go back!

I had the chance to visit the Cafe Alcázar while on business is St. Augustine. It was a great experience and I'll certainly go back. The restaurant is located in the Lightner Museum. That part of the museum used to be a Hotel owned by Henry Flagler. The restaurant is literally located on the hotel's former pool area. The staff... More

My wife and I had lunch there. Her pasta with shrimp was exceptionally well done. My was okay, but what can you say about Greek salad? The place was very well decorated and the service, while not exceptional, was certainly adequate. This is one of those places that you get a next or have a star.

Neat History! when we were told it used to be a pool we knew we had to eat there, it's an amazing feel, just to think about how people used to live there and the type of life they lived. My boyfriend I shared an appetizer and a meal it was more than enough, and all the food was amazing!

Great lunch following our visit to the museum. The food was excellent, the service was on point and the piano player was charming. We will definitely be back!
