We had a wonderful visit to the Museum and had decided to finish with lunch. It was Saturday afternoon 10/14/17. I was with my 90 year old mother who after much walking through the museum needed a break. The elevators from the museum do not...More

Our innkeeper at Bayfront Westcott B&B recommended this and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was fantastic, I had the catch of the day. It was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was great.

Considering it used to be an indoor swimming pool, it's hard not to soak up the history while enjoying a nice lunch. It had quite a nice variety on the menu, I chose a lighter half sandwich & soup to save room for an outstanding...More

Visited the museum and decided to eat in the restaurant. Ordered the Greek soup and had a wonderful fresh salad with chicken salad on top. Very Very good. Also piano music playing too. Recommend

Ate here based on TripAdvisor review. Did not disappoint. The lunch meal was simple yet very well made and creative. The historical attributes are obvious and provided a conversation piece during the meal. Would suggest to all.

We had lunch at this unique restaurant while touring Old St Augustine. Located in The Lightner Museum, this Cafe is located in what once was one of the first indoor swimming pools in a luxury hotel built during the time of Henry Flagler. The menu...More

We'd read there was a good-food cafe inside Lightner Museum. True! It's in the deep-end, flat floor of a former swimming pool. Lighting is low level and even with white table cloth service, prices are reasonable. We split a Curry Chicken sandwich on croissant, added...More

Had lunch here with a friend and although the place is lovely and interesting, it was so cold in there that I couldn't wait to eat and leave. We did mention it and they did bring us shawls to wear. The food was pretty good...More

It has been a while since I visited the Cafe Alcazar and I must say it has changed for the better. Menu has more unusual and upscale offerings, service has stepped up. Dined on a cuban and had the most decadent oatmeal pie with ice...More

There were four of us for lunch at the Café Alcazar. This converted Victorian-era indoor swimming pool defies description. Impeccable service and background guitar music provided for relaxation and enjoyment of our meal. The others choose sandwiches prepared in a way that is unique to...More

The cafe is predominantly a lunch restaurant, with very limited dates for dinner. It is well worth the wait if you're not able to make it for lunch.

There is metered parking behind and all around the museum, but the meters are free on Sunday!
