Stopped by about an hour before closing without a reservation. The two of us had to wait about 20 minutes. Waitress was great and well informed. We had some dietary restrictions and she was very knowledgeable. We started with absolutely sensational fried green tomatoes -- crispy and over a tomato relish. I then had the winter salad with the fresh... More

We had reservations for another restaurant that looked tasty but boring, but I wasn't feeling it so I was about to call the whole evening off. My husband found this place and it was perfect. Unique and delicious twists on southern classics. We started with a grilled shrimp on cornbread appetizer served with goat cheese, balsamic glazed strawberries. Then I... More

Came for lunch during the weekend. Was seated right away and service was great. Food was very good but not excellent. Presentation needed work as my wife's sandwich was a hot mess (shrimp po'boy) along with my son's cheese quesadilla. Good experience in a touristy area.

Waited 15 minutes for a tabled to be cleared. We were told it would be a minute. Only one bartender on duty, so drink service very slowed. Unimpressed with burger, po boy & child didn't eat quesadilla. Service very slow for lunch time. 2 hours start to finish. Surprised by all the great reviews. Won't be back.

I can't believe I've lived here for 6 years and missed this place! Had lunch here with a college chum I lunch with monthly. She ordered the seared Ahi tuna on ciabatta and I the fried green tomato which I ordered on ciabatta (it usually comes on "sweet African bread" which I've never heard of). Our waitress was very knowledgeable... More

We made reservations for dinner on Valentine's Day. The menu was fixed price offering several options. We had reviewed the menu on line but the offerings had changed when we arrived at the restaurant,a disappointment. My wife had lemon chicken, which was tasty but not a $45 dinner. I had the tenderloin which was very good. Service was very good... More

Sat outside in the lovely courtyard for lunch. Sadly, lunch was ruined by another customer who decided to change his baby's heavily soiled diaper at the vacant table next to mine. (I don't want to get into the details, but this not a young baby nor a quick change and, if changing a baby's diaper at a table is acceptable,... More

My wife and I chose to stop in to The Floridian as it was between two scheduled stops on an afternoon in St. Augustine. We were quite pleased. The food was quite good, service was excellent, and nice al fresco dining options.

We had no reservation and ended up eating outside. Even though it was cold we were comfortable. The food was fabulous and very fresh. The cheese board to start was so good. I had the Pork belly caprese sandwich which was to die for. Definitely recommend!
