Sitting outside during the day? Bring your sunblock. The scenery is nice if you sit on the deck. The beer selection is ok, not great... but the apathetic server didn't pick up on my not so subtle hint that I was not happy about my less than full pour. Maybe she recalled it when her pretty average tip was collected.... More

This place is a Jewel in the midst of Punta Gorda, Florida! It is at Fisherman's Village! While overlooking the water, it is the best place to entertain friends or family for any occasion! Their Spicy Thai Chicken Wings are the very best and their seafood menu has many succulent choices, never to disappoint!

Although you go to a retaurant for the food, I must say that there are other experiences when dining out that need to be addressed with this venue. Like I said, the food is wonderful, served professionally, priced accordingly and delivered in a timely fashion. My rating of three is due to the less than steller eperience in giving our... More

Having never been to Punta Gorda before and craving seafood, I thought I would give the Village Fish Market a try, in part due to it being a seafood restaurant and in that they have an extensive gluten free menu. I also looked at the TripAdvisor ranking, #7 of 115 restaurants and decided it was my best bet for seafood... More

Tonight was an awful experience at this restaurant. We went early at 5:30 PM. They were out of two specials - even just ran out of Honey Mustard Dressing. I have a severe allergy to iodine so I cannot eat any seafood. We have visiting guests and they love seafood. I wanted to order Greek Salad. I asked if they... More

You also have there lunch menu for dinner which are smaller for some of us with a smaller appetite. Please give them a try you won't be... More

First, begin with our previous experiences which were excellent. Servers treated us great; clam chowder can't be duplicated. We were seated outside on walkway deck as first available and we were hungry. We had to wait for table to be cleared and server to come by. We ordered alcoholic beverages which arrived at a slow pace (they were busy). She... More

The clam chowder was really good, the fried shrimp was ok but the rest of our food was no good. No flavor in any of the breading on the fish, onion rings or shrimp. The rice pilaf was not good at all. The service was good once she got to our table

The food and service and cleanliness of the restaurant were excellent but thought it was a little pricey. A great experience anyway.

My niece and here husband were visiting and we had lunch at village fish market. We were seated immediately. we had blackened red fish, tuna salad on croissant, crab salad on croissant. It was extremely cold in the restaurant. My niece said her tuna was very dry, and my crab salad was artificial crab, which I wouldn't have ordered if... More
