Friendly staff, good food, great location. Docking is easy thanks to dock master. Blah blah 100 word filler.

If I had been a server when my extended family and I walked into this restaurant, I would have probably burst into tears at the sight of our group of almost 20 people (including 6 children.) Some of us were better behave than others, and...More

Keep this restaurant in mind while boating in the area. It was easy to park with an attendant there to guide you in. As we walked up the path to the restaurant, there was beautiful trees and landscaping to enjoy (great photo opportunities). We were...More

Cool place with a decent menu and good service. It's the only place to eat on this small and quaint little piece of dirt.

Had guests in from out of town, and took them to this island inn and restaurant, as we always do. I have been coming here for 25 years, used to know the owner (I worked with a lot of his friends), but have not seen...More

Cabbage Key is accessible only by boat. After a long day on the water Cabbage Key is a must stop. Nothing fried but everything was good. Service is fast and drinks are cold. Smoked salmon appetizer is excellent.

I never saw one since we ate from the adults menu. Plenty of kids around so I'd bet that they probably do offer a kids menu, but I never saw one.

Cabbage Key is a 100 acre island located five miles off of Pine Island, FL in the Pine Island Sound. The Inn, built in the 1940's by the family of Mary Roberts Rinehart, now houses our famous Restaurant & Dollar Bill Bar and 6 guest rooms. The rooms in the Inn are all different with old Florida charm - they do not have TVs, phones, or refrigerators. We have 8 cottages on the island, ranging from a 1 bedroom/1 bath cottage to 3 bedroom/3 bath waterfront units. All cottages have refrigerators, televisions (no cable) and coffee makers, some units have full kitchens. Our restaurant is open seven days a week and serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. Reservations are accepted for dinner only. Our hours of operation for our restaurant are listed on our website within our "Dining" section, as well as our full menus for each meal. If you want to relax on a beach...we do not have one here. But, Cayo Costa is a close kayak or boat ride away. This is a great retreat to discover "Old Florida", grab a burger for lunch, relax with a book, & watch the boats go by.
