We have been here many times before. When we went in this time the place was bare. Only a few things to offer. Asked the person behind the counter where the snapper was from. He didn't know. We decided on the grouper. Cooked it later that evening and it was terrible. Didn't smell fresh and tasted even worse . Threw... More

We stop by here every time we want to do a low country boil! They have fresh local, never frozen shrimp and many non-local varieties as well. Fresh fish, too! Cheerful, helpful staff.

For the do it yourself cooks and foodies, this is your paradise. The staff is very knowledgeable. The seafood choices are great. The dips are delectable. Go!

We grabbed some stuff from here instead of hitting up another restaurant. Glad we did, because it was great! We got some grouper, steamed shrimp, and smoked crab dip. All of it was outstanding!!!!!

We wanted to bring back some fish dip, and Cardenas came recommended, so we stopped in. They had five or six types: Cobia, tuna, crab, salmon, and a few others, plus a nice selection of fresh seafood. We tried the Cobia, crab, and tuna. They were all good and each was slightly different. The crab was sweet with a hint... More

Visited twice ..they didn't have much to offer on the first visit and what they did have wasn't that great looking. On the second visit the cases were full and the place was cleaner and fresher..

Cardena's is the creator of the finest smoked seafood dip in the city. When I come to town, this is my first stop. I usually pick up 2 or 3 cartons of smoked tuna dip (they offer salmon and other fish selections as well), and a stack of crackers. Considering they charge $5 per container, instead of $13.95, that the... More

I went in looking for tuna dip and ended up with a lot more! They steam my shrimp for me which was delicious. Will definitely go back.

Ok we tried this place a cpl years ago and recieved horrible unfriendly service. We thought we would try it again. It was no better than the last. The staff who work here are horrible! They are not friendly or helpful and quite frankly act like you are unconvincing them to get any seafood. We will never go there again!

As one of the closest seafood markets to the Thomas Drive area, we expected prices to be a little on the high side but their selection was really poor and probably the highest prices we found in PCB area. Don't waste time here - drive just a few miles back into town to Buddy Gandys seafood for 5x the selection... More
