Okay, so like so many things at Disney, this is what it is. Don't expect 5 star cuisine. Do expect a fun, campy experience. We made a reservation (seriously, people, make reservations for sit down meals at Disney!) and we still had to wait quite...More

First time visit and it was awesome. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The scenery is beautiful. The complimentary chips and salsa are so good and they give you a lot. I had the pollo Rojas which is marinated chicken with rice...More

It was crowded but we 7 including a 3,5,&7 yr old had a reservation and a dining plan. The menu was as expected Mexican but we needed and asked for dietary considerations -- vegan and gluten and dairy sensitivities Rosario our waitress went into action....More

As some people have said it has a great atmosphere but the food leaves something to be desired. My family of 5 at here with two other families and we all had the same reaction. Very difficult to read the menu because of the lighting...More

The food was not very good. We have a run of the mill average Mexican restaurant by our home that blows this one away. You pay a big amount for less than average portion and taste. I was so excited. The atmosphere is incredible but...More

This is hands down one of the best ambiances at Epcot for a meal. Ask for a river table and you're eating at the foot of the pyramid overlooking the boat ride in a nighttime environment. It's pretty dark, so if you mind not seeing...More

So I fancy myself the Disney expert in the family. My husband decided we should eat here and I told him it would be impossible without reservation. Somehow we were able to get a table and only waited about 5 minutes. The atmosphere is really...More

Despite having reservations we did have to wait a while for a table. Once seated we were served quickly. Nice ambiance, moderate noise. Salsa was a bit too spicy for me, but chips were perfect. Steak was delicious, tender and cooked to perfection. Nice size...More

To keep it simple food is ok, your paying for the artificial atmosphere of an evening in Mexico overlooking a Mayan temple and volcano. The margaritas are good, but are theyworth 14.50usd? No. The empanadas lacked much flavour, they weren't bad but I've had much...More

Always advisable to make a reservation. Atmosphere is awesome. It's always a beautiful night here. If You have time, take the boat ride. Food is good. Not your usual Americano Mexican fare, which is refreshing. Try something outside your standard taco zone. Service is decent....More

When making a reservation can you state a table with river view or is this something you have to ask when you're actually at the restaurant?

I don't believe it matters if you ask when you make the reservation, on,y if you ask when you actually get there as they will need to see what's available at the time. There aren't very many on the river so you may have to... More

The restaurant is based in a replication of an Aztec Temple in EPCOT's World Showcase. The main building can be seen from a different point of view, but from the front it's an Aztec Temple. Basically, the place is almost... More

In my opinion. Nowhere near good enough for me to even consider recommending them to someone. La hacienda right across the way is much better if you are looking for mexican food

At the San Angel Inn restaurant in Disney's Mexico Pavilion in Epcot you will be dining in perpetual twilight. The subdued lighting provides an intimate setting in this romantic restaurant modeled after a 17th Century hacienda that features traditional Mexican Cuisine for lunch and dinner, complimented by a great selection of traditional Margaritas, beer and wine.

The restaurant blends the charm and distinction of old times with modern luxury. When seated in the rear of the restaurant, patrons can enjoy watching the boats of the La Gran Fiesta attraction go by. Mexican tile floors and stucco walls add to the authentic atmosphere. While sipping your Margarita and enjoying your meal, you'll feel as if you are at a Hacienda.
