We arrived at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (where Boma is located) after a long day's travelling and had booked into the restaurant that evening. Although we arrived a little late for the reservation, the team could not have been more welcoming and we seated very quickly and our server was excellent. The atmosphere here is excellent - very welcoming and... More

Firstly. You get to go to the Animal Kingdom Resort which is simply beautiful. I would always recommend walking around and looking at all the exotic animals that just wonder around the resort. I'd also recommend staying until 7pm and grabbing a pair of night vision goggled and doing some spoopy spying on the animals when they think they can't... More

If you love bold tastes, a range of spice and tons of flavor, this buffet is for you. Honestly, one of my favorite buffets ever! I wish I could eat here weekly. Great for vegetarians, but enough meat available to satisfy carnivores. Also, there is a mini "American" food section for those less daring-a waste of space if you ask... More

Stayed at AKL for a family vacation recently and visited Boma for dinner. Been reading a lot of good reviews on TA but was a little skeptical. After all it is still a buffet, right? Anyway, the price is $40 dollars per adult and we had a toddler under 3 so her meal was free. The Good: The decor of... More

This was an amazing treat for dinner. I recommend having a reservation if you know when you will be there. We arrived on a Sunday at Animal Kingdom Lodge and had a 7pm dinner reservation. We saw many people turned away who did not have reservations. We had our 3 and 5 year old children with us for dinner, so... More

While the food was interesting and generally tasted good, there was a lot of Americanized food in my opinion (and I'm from the U.S., but wanted African food at this location). There was also a lot of repetition in the food. There is one amazing thing and that is this small almost disk shaped desert made from chocolate and liqueur.... More

My husband and I have Never been fans of the 'buffet style' of dining....but THIS PLACE..... this is SPECIAL and we went twice in our 5 night stay. My husband had a few questions about some of the ingredients in a few dishes and the head chef gladly stepped up to speak with him to answer his questions on the... More

We had reservations for 5 and still waited 45 mins. People who complained after waiting for 10 mins with 6 people were seated before us. Food not worth 45 min wait and definitely tasted worse than it was due to bad service. This is my first time providing feedback because I'm fairly tolerant...so a pretty big deal for me to... More

We had breakfast at Boma last week and it was delicious. They have all of the traditional breakfast meals, but they also have many African choices as well. Buffet style, so fill up for the day. You won't regret it!!!
