Been here about 4 times now and have always enjoyed it. It really does kind of seem like a kitchen from the 50's with all the old memoribilia and TV shows playing. Simple food like meat loaf and fried chicken and usually the waitress or...More

It is truly like taking a step back in time to grandmas house (decor and food). Everything on the menu is comfort food. The staff treats you like family "elbows off the table... sit up straight...". You will have a great time while eating and...More

The waiter threw a bunch of straws on top of our table. I guess he thought he was being funny, no it wasn't funny at all. Maybe the thought of serving asian customers didn't bode to well for him. There was another table next to...More

Is the decor a little over the top? Yep, but I like it. What really makes the experience is the wait staff. Anyone who has met Janice or one of her peers knows exactly what I mean. Sit up and get your elbows off the...More

Very very disappointed last night. Service staff did not interact and play the "role" thats makes this a Disney destination not just dinner. Manager said some people were offended so they toned it down. I say they RUINED IT!

Janice "took care" of us, she was GREAT, I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone so I won't go into detail. The food was plentiful and tasty! We had the sampler plater and pot roast both were great, as we're the onion rings....More

The waitstaff made this dinner the most enjoyable part of Hollywood studios. The setting for the restaurant was quirky and made you feel like you were in a movie. The food was also very good. I had the pork chop. Although it was pricey it...More

Can you request a tone down on the scolding. Our son has Autism, I am not sure he'd understand that it's a joke.

I seen people just going in to have desert too. There was a long line when we got there for our reservations; so not sure if you can just walk up. You can ask them a question on their actual website.

50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
