We made reservations a week prior for brunch for a group of 13. We got there and the hostesses were very friendly and nice. They set up our table outside and it was a good spot. I went to the bar first and ordered a few drinks. A few minutes later someone dropped a bunch of glasses and chards of... More

Our foodie crew loved this place. We really felt like it was a Mediterranean meal in someone's house. The server made us custom drinks and paired menu choices with our palates. Great complexity of flavours. Deserted rocked and overall value for money. Get off the theme park strip and come here for a civilized meal.

My boyfriend and I went to Santiago's Bodega on a Sunday evening. We had heard a lot about their brunch but couldn't make it there until later. First, this is a tapas restaurant. They have a great selection and an extensive wine and beer menu plus a full bar. Our server was Blanca and she was fabulous. We ordered four... More

This used to be my favorite tapas place. Their Spanakopeta, Smoked Salmon Carpaccio and Empanadas are my favorite. Their cocktails are tasty and the food arrives in a timely manner. If you arrive after 10PM the tapas are half off. However recently it's been difficult to get in. I've tried calling ahead of time to make reservations but either no... More

I'd heard a lot are reviews about this place, finely went there with a colleague from Europe and some friends. The food was amazing, even a separate vegetarian and gluten-free menu for the fussy ones amongst us, topped off with some excellent service! A slight twist on Tapas, dishes from around the world, with American sized portions! Can't wait to... More

Stopped for an early lunch with friends before visiting the Orlando Museum of Fine Art. Wanted to try a restaurant that had a menu different than the usual hamburger and fries. Santiago's is the place for a delicious, reasonable and different lunch. The tapas was a great idea for sharing (2 boards) is just enough. They have an attentive and... More

Friends recommended that we meet at this restaurant and am glad they did. Upon our arrival, the place struck me as being trendy. We had an outside table, which was fine since the weather was good. Our server, Margaret was very personable and helpful by making some suggestions. This is a tapas restaurant so serving sizes are "tasting" sized, although the... More

We held our staff appreciation party at Santiagos and everything was outstanding. From the booming process with the hands on GM Andy to the food and service. We were a big group and they handled it flawlessly. The food was always plentiful and we never had to wait for drinks or anything. Thank you Santiago Bodega from our staff to... More

We have been to Santiago Bodega several times and I am happy to report that the food quality and wait staff service is still excellent. The Sunday brunch is one of the best in Orlando. For $39 you get unlimited Mimosas, Sangria or Sparkling Sangria (red Sangria with a splash of sparkling wine), a huge buffet selection and made to... More

Description
Santiago's Bodega presents a unique tasting experience featuring small plates that hopscotch between decadent (a warm Camembert wedge topped with sauteed garlic, onions, almonds, apricots, chopped dates, bell peppers), refreshing (yellow fin tuna, avocado, mango ceviche), exotic (lamb patties with fresh thyme, sherry, lemon zest) and just plain comfort-food-delicious (Roman meatballs on angel hair, or fried potatoes in a spicy sauce). As nothing costs over $15, there’s no major commitment, and if the relationship doesn't work, move along to the next selection. The menu’s ideal for sharing and for mixing up in endless combinations. Alternate between chevre tartlet, spanakopita, or smoked salmon carpaccio. Invent your own meal. Dining in such a way permits the rules of wine pairings to step aside like snooty impostors, and what goes best with dinner is exactly what tempts you. Santiago’s Bodega is a good-natured, low-key, food-lovers hangout, a neighborhood restaurant. - Margit Bisztray
