Down toward the end of Captiva Island is a hidden Gem!!! Outstanding Food and Service!! The entire place is covered with dollar bills from people who have eaten there. You can eat inside or outside. Everything we ate was Very Good. Highly Recommend making time for Cantina Captiva!!

This is probably the least pretentious and most honest eating experience on the islands. We have been coming here for years. There have been a few changes - the jungle that used to surround the entrance had been cleared to make an outdoor eating area, and the bowls of quacamole and salsa are much reduced in size - I can... The food was delicious and the margaritas were insane. The staff were nice and attendant. For two we have to wait only like 15 minutes for the food.

We stopped here for a cold, draft beer while exploring and shopping. We were also given tortilla chips with delicious salsa. We did not eat lunch or dinner here, but the food served to others looked delicious.

The inside of the restaurant is dark and covered with dollar bills, and when I say covered, I mean completely covered like wallpaper. It's a bit unusual so we decided to sit outdoors. The service was quick and the food was very good. We started out with an order of the guacamole and Margaritas after seeing the recommendations on TripAdvisor... More

This was one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever visited. It was authentic and the ambience had such a fun little beach town vibe.

We stopped for lunch and later for dinner after a visit to Bowman's beach. Great fresh and Mexican dishes and also for my wife who is vegetarian and likes to avoid gluten in her diet. Very tasty food!

The food was very good. The ambience was very dark although there was outside seating. And the walls are all decorated with our bills that people have written on. Not my design style. But the food was good

We stopped for a quick lunch on our drive back from a day at Captiva Beach. Ordered red sangria- nice, not too sweet. The fresh salsa and corn chips were quite good. We ordered the fish taco and tequila lime shrimp based on TripAdvisor recommendations and were not disappointed. Fast service, food was fresh, well seasoned and delivered after a... More
