The Pointe offers above-average sandwiches, salads and other entrees for the area immediately adjacent to the main pool complex at South Seas resort. We found the selections tasty and decently priced, considering the location. Service, whether around the pool or in the restaurant itself, was consistently good.

I spend several weeks a year at South Seas Resort and have for over twenty years. This review is for the pool complex in general including the Crooked Snook and The Point. The pool complex that The Pointe is located in is one of the most scenic I have ever been to. The overall service however has been hit or... More

We had lunch at the Pointe because of its poolside location. Our sandwiches were decent, but our server was MIA once the food arrived. There were no follow ups for refills or to see how we were doing. Waiting for the check was annoyingly long. The restaurant didn't appear to be understaffed. We would have been better off ordering from... More

On a slightly chilly day we had a very comfortable table on the upper porch. Our waiter was wonderful---prompt with all our orders and especially prompt with the peanut butter and jelly sandwich for our 3 year old grandson. The granddaughters loved hotdogs and French fries. I enjoyed the Mediterranean platter--terrific hummus and whipped feta. People watching made lunch particularly... More

We ordered in the restaurant but had it brought to us by the pool (they found us). We had fish tacos and a grilled grouper sandwich. Both were quite good. We absolutely loved the kale salad (with fresh blueberries and much more) which came with it ...fries were a $3 up charge...wonderful healthy lunch. Fabulous view to enjoy while eating... More

Generally ok food served well. We had fish tacos gluten free. They were pretty good. Personally I've found Doc Fords miles better quality food.

Nice views of the ocean if you eat outside. The service to take your orders, as well as serving the food is extremely slow and I was annoyed to miss so much time enjoying the beach and ocean. I would recommend just ordering food at the Ship Store or the Provisions store.

Although the location is very convenient since It is right next to the pool, the food was very expensive. We paid close to 70$ at lunch for 3 entrees and one very overpriced average drink . You are better off picking up a sandwich from the ships store near the marina.
