If kosher is your thing the food here is not bad, but it is also not something I will remember to my dying days. But what I will remember is the weird atmosphere, which reminded me of an OR or an office lobby from the 50ties. It is just utterly tasteless. To be fair, the place was empty and very... More

After sitting at Rare for an hour and 20 minutes, we received only some of our dishes which were terribly prepared. The restaurant was far from full and the waiters were nowhere to be found. After complaining, the owner came and said he would take care of it - and disappeared into the kitchen, not be seen again. After waiting... More

Good Steakhouse. We ordered 2 Ceasar Salads as an entree then a Hamburger and a 18 oz rib eye. It's not the cheapest Steakhouse but absolutely worth the money!

After looking for an upscale Kosher restaurant in the South Beach/Miami area, we finally decided to try RARE Steakhouse, which is now called Rare Bistro. The staff were very nice, very attentive but the food was (in my humble opinion) very overpriced and sadly, not to our liking. Since we were a party of 6 (family and friends) and no... More

This was the second time I ate at Rare. It was previously located on 41st Street-now it is in the Tower 41 condo building. The restaurant is spacious and uncrowded, which is good. Valet parking means you won't have to waste time finding a spot. Also good. The bar was good, I had Sam Adams on tap. Wine by the... More

We needed kosher meals for Friday dinner and Saturday lunch and this was the only local restaurant available that weekend. The price seemed very high, about $300 for a couple. But we assumed that for this price it will probably be wonderful. Not so. Before making the reservation, especially since it's named "Steakhouse", we inquired about vegetarian options, and they... Description
Rare Steakhouse is a unique space that fuses contemporary dining in a non-traditional kosher restaurant setting. It crosses the lines to create a singular synergy, bringing kosher fine dining to a new level. From interiors to cuisine, Rare Steakhouse permeates trend. "In a city littered with "classic American steakhouses,' you have to cook and present yourself with a little chutzpah to stand out," says owner Baruch Sandhaus.
The goal, to redefine the cookie-cutter approach to fine dining for its respective clientele; while introducing a new way of dining for Floridians and travelers alike – removing the association that kosher cuisine is exclusively about religion. At Rare Steakhouse you can find some of the most prestigious cuts of meats available on the market.
Rare Steakhouse is the one of the newest and coolest restaurant in town. It is a RARE find in a HOT location, but well done on prices and food.
