A great place. Good food, great service and atmosphere. They have the freshest fish one can ever eat and their drinks are off this world. No reservation required either.

Enjoyed a family meal here while on vacation in Miami over Christmas break. The food was very tasty but it was pretty expensive for a very casual place. That said the fish is super fresh, right off the boat. Service was slow but we were on vacation so we could deal with it! Recommended.

With a party of 9 people, I ordered a Bloody Mary (because the waiter assured me cocktails were great) and got canned spiced tomato juice with vodka and ice served in the same scratched glass used for tap water (no garnishes, salt/pepper, anything in it). The waiter asked me if I liked it, I said no and nothing was offered... More

Let me start by saying this place has fantastic food , great atmosphere and a cool location by the water. You can even dock your boat and come in for a meal. Staff was great even though I waited over 5 minutes after being seated to be asked what I want to drink and later i could not find my... More

Once again a wonderful jumbo stone crab dinner sitting outside upstairs besides the Miami River. Half shelled, fried oyster and conch were good. Tasty fries. The key lime pie needed more lime and less evaporated milk. Good bar service.

Garcia's was recommended by out AirBnB Hostess. It is on a canal and eating outside is very comfortable. Lots of sea gulls but the cover over the eating area holds them at bay. The swallows come in but they are not a bother. We stopped in for lunch and I had a disappointing Clam Chowder. I think the clam must... More

This was the best restaurant on our trip to Miami. My wife went as far as saying this was the best seafood she has ever had !!! Make sure you get a table outside - beautiful setting right on the miami river. In terms of parking, we just did valet for a minimal price of $5 (for dinner)

Charming restaurant in the heart of downtown Miami, on the water. Casual, family owned and operated. Our service and food were awesome! The owner, Louie was a gracious host with wonderful stories of his father, the restaurant's history and loyal staff over the years. For many years, Garcia's was one of the few restaurants on the River. Now it's and... More

See the title. No need to elaborate. Unfriendly demeanor from the waitstaff. The balcony had an odor of something rotting below, but that may have been coming from the waterway. After dinner, we left hungry and immediately began looking for somewhere else to eat. Parking attendant was not friendly, but he was efficient.

We heard a lot about this place and decided to check it out (I really love seafood). Parking was tight, so we utilized the valet parking at the door. Located on the river, we went upstairs where we were greeted by a hostess who immediately guided us to an outdoor table on the patio. Great view of the river, but... More
