This place saved our day when we visited the Museum. Good quality snacks, fair prices and nice employees.

Not sure if guests may take food/drinks with them and we opted not to carry them with the risk of having to throw out. So we had lunch at Food@Science. The location on the 1st floor is convenient with plenty of seating outside and in....The restrooms are spacious and clean. Note there are 2 lines to enter -- the line on the right is for the coffee bar and the line on the left is for food. The food options were standard museum food including pizza and burgers. We found this particularly entertaining as we'd just finished the MeLab exhibit where you learn about food nutrient value in an exhibit where the heavily weighted dics were bad (pizza, burgers) and the lighter weighed discs were good (peas, bananas). We've laughed about this many times since! So we did as our consciences told us and ordered salads. We added on chicken to both. So 2 high-end salads with chicken and 2 drinks was $41. Not cheap but pretty standard. Tips: the tables have real silverware so skip grabbing plasticware. Also, there is a water dispenser with cups so skip buying bottled water.More

The Pizza and sweet potato fries are good. I would just drink the free ice cold water in the dining area. Clean restrooms in the back.
