DIXIE GRILL & STEER ROOM, Live Oak

Got the lumberjack for breakfast and was throughly satisfied! First timer and definitely will be back! Service was great , plenty of choices on menu and food was excellent! Little more expensive than other choices but well worth it!

Service is nonexistent and when the food finally came out it was wrong. Couldn’t get it corrected because server was nonexistent. What a waste of my time and money.

Reasonable priced "home cooking."

My son and I were in the area to scuba dive at Troy Springs and Royal Springs near Live Oak. Between dives, we looked for a place to eat and found Dixie Grill in Live Oak. The parking lot was full even at about 11:00...am when we got there and that usually means a good meal. My son had their make your own skillet and it was absolutely delicious. I just had a short stack of pancakes which was two plate-sized pancakes. I saw their pecan pie in the desert cooler and asked for a piece of pie with my breakfast and later turned that piece into an entire pie along with a piece of Coconut cream pie for my wife at home. Both were delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is near Live Oak, FLMore

Delicious Southern Cooking

We were greeted by Charles the owners husband. Very friendly and when we were lead to our table he explained the whole menu to us. Turkey and dressing was the special today. I ordered the fried gizzards and mashed tater tots. Both were simply delicious....My mother loved her beef liver but it could have had more gravy. I finished my lunch with an Oreo pudding crunch dessert. Amazing and very delicious. This is a hidden gem in the Live Oak area. It is visited by most of the locals in Live Oak. It is mostly opened at breakfast and lunch. No dinner hours.More

Delicious food and abundant amount. Great home style cooking. Could not ask for better or for more than we were served. Great food and service!

Solid food and quality just not exciting

Had a good omlette, not the town center it used to be. Service was good, restaurant was clean and large enough for larger parties or a group meal.

The Dixie Grill is a LIve Oak Institution

I've been going to the Dixie Grill for years. I love their fried chicken. Sandwiches are also very good. The salad bar is great and is standard with meals-but only one trip there, please. The Grill has been there for years. You have to go...early because there is a decent sized parking lot, but it fills up during the lunch hour. I've never been disappointed there.More

Yummy......

Good old fashion country cookin at it's best. I just wish they were open for dinner. Best food that I have had in a long time. The absolute best place to go for a yummy.... lunch.

Country cooing

All you can eat breakfastbar, Breakfast or lunch the menus, are great so much food too eat. The salad bar is a great side for any lunch.
