Their spaghetti and meatballs are slightly above average for this area. Other than that, I have only had their meatball sub, which they no longer offer although you can get just meatballs
Liked the people and the atmosphere. I had manicotti with some meatballs. Manicotti was great, sauce was great, meatballs were mediocre. They seemed like out of a frozen bag of meatballs like you'd buy from Publix. No taste, kind of gristly. I was bummed because I was really looking forward to some home made meatballs. Nada. It's funny. There were... More
3 couples for Saturday evening dinner. We chose this place based on prior recommendation on Trip Advisor for Italian Restaurants near us! We do have several to chose from but, went with Mom and Dads and were not disappointed! Service was good, dinners were all delivered in a timely fashion and prepared very well. The only exception to the evening... More
Always find it hard to rate Italian restaurants, since I am of Italian heritage and one gets used to their own sauces, etc. Because of this, I usually order items that I would not ordinarily have at home. Mom & Dads offer the usual fare, but also some more uncommon dishes. Others in our party ordered the more common entres... More
The little place is delightful starting when you walk in the door and are greeted with a smile and lovely old time background Italian music. The servers are exceptional. Friendly, kind, and get it right every time. The food, oh the food. Out if this world. My favorite is Spaghetti a la Bruzzi, my husband's is spaghetti with meat sauce... More
There are very few places to eat in the area that have stood the test of time..... Mom & Dad's is at the top of that list. Ricky & Elainna Tucker are carrying on the tradition from her parents (Matucci) that I remember when my Mom & Dad took me there when I was little. Same great food (I always... More
A great surprise to find this restaurant just 10 minutes from Spanish Springs in The Villages. It's been there for decades and we didn't know about it until we spotted an ad in the local newspaper. Open every day except Monday and, unlike many other places, they do take reservations. The gluten free menu has almost as many items as... More
We were greeted, seated, and served promptly. Arrived just after opening. The seating is limited, so I can foresee long waits during prime time. The bread, including a gluten free roll, was excellent. The meatballs were very good, sausage needed more spices, angel hair pasta was ok. The beef and mushroom soup was great. The lasagna was nice, but again... More
