We just loved El Siboney. In a town where it is too easy to overpay for mediocre food, this family owned place is a gem. Prices are reasonable, and there were very tourists visible mid-afternoon on Sunday. We had a wonderful avocado salad and fried plantains to accompany our mixed cuban sandwiches. The sangria was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it... More

My roasted pork platter with plantains and black beans and rice was the absolute best. The lightly cooked onions piled on the pork made it perfect. My husband had the BBQ chicken. and he doesn't like his BBQ sweet, it was to his liking. We both took home leftovers.

Tables are too close together, wait staff is hurried, Burgundy is the only red wine, sangria is deplorable (sicky sweet with no fruit). However, at least two pork dishes are great: the roast pork and the pork tenderloin melt in your mouth. And the fried plantains are good too. Really, really casual. Somewhat noisy.

Our family enjoyed this down to earth dining restaurant. The service was fantastic and the portions were big. The #7 is a must (Cuban style steak), #24 (Coconut shrimp) was yummy, #26 Grouper was good as well. Sangria is house made and tastes great! Would love to have such great Cuban food in the area we live.

There is a lot of food to eat. All of it is good, just maybe not seasoned liked American since this is Cuban and much blander. We tried pork, garlic chicken and hogfish. All come with soup, yellow rice and plantains. Black beans were ordered on the side. We couldn't finish it all. Service was good and the food arrived... More

This little Cuban restaurant is possibly the best value in Key West, excellent food, authentic atmosphere and good prices.

The concierge where we were staying recommended El Siboney if you wanted real Cuban food, not the touristy type. It's off the beaten path, a bit of a walk (or bike ride or drive), but well worth it. We went for lunch (you might want to arrive a bit before noon, it got crowded very quickly) and had a Cuban... More

Plenty of Cuban inspired food for a fair price. Ordered meatballs and mashed potatoes. I didn't get the fried bananas as a side dish and I immediately regretted that decision when I saw my friend's plate.

My husband and I recently visited El Siboney again and both had the shrimp with yellow rice and black beans. This is a great value on the island and delicious Cuban style food. We love eating here because there are so many nationalities and languages represented, but everyone is there for terrific Cuban food. The staff is friendly and moves... More
