Stopped in for dinner last night and loved the decor inside. I always admired it as I drove by, but had no idea it was so cute inside. The only change I would make is to dim the wall lights a bit at night. The menu included appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, specials and traditional Cuban entrees. Everything looks authentic on... More

A must visit for my family when in the Tampa area. The food is great Cuban food. Very large menu. About 10 minutes off of I-275 but well worth the stop. Can't go wrong. Eight police came on for dinner while we were there so you know the food must be good.

We started with an excellent impression. The atmosphere was great with Latin flavour of decor and music. It continued with unbelievable sangria that went down like Kool-Aid! That's when it stalled. While the Chen sandwich was overloaded with fresh chicken breast, the black bean soup and Cuban sandwiches were salty, with the sandwich lacking any fresh flavour. Disappointing but I'd... More

Very, very good food. We are never disappointed. Service is very good. Really nice atmosphere. Great Cuban sandwiches, and try the fried mashed potato balls stuffed. One with pork and one with beef.

Just like homemade, if your home were a little mom and pop café on the island :) Not too fast, and not too fancy, but every dish (and side dish) was extremely flavorful and authentic, from the black beans to the flan. Prices were very reasonable too.

Well known and authentic neighborhood eatery. Written up in press for years-long restaurant food. Had the Chicken and rice dish that is a classic. Serves fine wine and good food in a casual yet classy setting. Limited parking lot, but can park on side streets. Menu is just roght for any palate. Cuban faire and delicious Cuban bread. Recommend a... More

At about 7:00 we waited 10-15 minutes for a table for four. Order Café Leche with first round of beverages and it took about 20 minutes to get the coffee. After the appetizers and entrees were served in a reasonable amount of time. The food was tasty, serving sizes are plentiful but the sauce on the drunken shrimp seemed too... More

We have been eating here for years - the Havana Combo Cuban sandwich with black beans and rice is simple and delicious. Get a side order of the fried plantains and Cuban bread and end the meal with their flan - perfect. The atmosphere is casual, staff are welcoming, and a meal here is always memorable.

More like Americanized Cuban. Ordered platter to try a little bit of things that they're known for. Meh... Shrimp drowned in butter. Chicken was drowned in heavy cream sauce. Pork roast has flavor but heavy in vinegar. Plaintains were more black rather than caramel color. Flan tasted more like a cake. Appetizer of shrimp was also drowned in butter. The... More
