Traveling, staying in Gainesville a couple of nights. Pomodoro Café not right in town and in a strip mall. A very nice atmosphere, well appointed, nice lighting, good music in the background, some Italian, Menu extensive. Has specials. Customer waiting ahead of us said desserts were the best and we had to order one (too full to order dessert after... More

Staff are all friendly....decor depicts the theme of the restaurant and then the food! The food!!!! Must have their Italian Wedding Soup! Pastas are creamy and comforting....portions are... More

I've eaten here over 100 times and the food and service have always been great. Great selection and variety. I enjoy the daily specials often.

I've been here several times and every time the service has been fine and the food has been fine. Nothing has stood out as being very good. I like the dipping sauce that comes with the bread, and I like their minestrone soup. I've tried their eggplant Parmesan and it was okay. I've had their chicken piccata, but I've had... More

This is the 3rd time we have gone and picked up to go orders. Every time there is someone new working the pick up area. And every time they have no idea what they are doing. This time it was real bad. It took 15 mins. for the girl to get the order right. When we got home it was... More

The wait to be seated can be long on Fridays and weekends, even if you opt for the "outdoor" seating. Although not spectacular, the food is good, basic Italian and the wait staff has... More
