Very slow service and then one of our party didn't receive her meal. Marie yelled that they were out of cheese. Didn't say anything when it was ordered. Never offered an alternative. If you run a restaurant, you really need to treat customers well or you won't have customers. She needs to retire. Her son was wonderful. How embrassing for... More

It is very easy to drive by this special place. Don't let the looks fool you, it has fantastic cajun cooking. The Crawfish Etouffee is special and the Salmon Duvall is great!!! One complaint; we have been there 8-9 times and they never have the Bread Pudding which we hear is unbelievable.

Maria's has been around a long time, but used to only be a fish market when I was a kid, now she has a small hidden restaurant, she cooks everything fresh, excellent! It is hidden though if you don't know the area, its right before you go over the bridge to the beach, small place. Her Son works there, he... More

The fried fish was great. The shrimp were big and great. Local small place but good seafood. The ettoufee was not good. Salty and bad flavor. Maria was great but will go back and stick with fried foods

For our last supper in Florida for this season, we went to Maria's. The garlic shrimp and salmon Duval were delicious and so was the sangria. We look forward to returning next season.

Loved this location. Beautiful sunset surrounded by outside dining. However, the food was just not worth eating. Dinner would have been better and cheaper at macDonald's.

Upon entering this hole in the wall, quirkily decorated place you are greeted by a grouse, still in holiday garland. It is very casual and seating is either in the front which is enclosed or on the open patio where you have a view of the yachts parked at the docks and within shouting distance of the several birds in... Normally, I would recommend quirky little restaurants like these, but I won't be going back to Maria's. For starters, they have a message of support for an idiotic political candidate on their sign outside, totally inappropriate. If that hadn't turned my, stomach, their food certainly would have. I would not recommend giving this place a try.

I had high expectations for this quirky restaurant. The Gumbo was good but unfortunately the fish dishes weren't. Our table ordered three different fish dishes, and they arrived all looking the same...bland..and unfortunately all tasted the same. All were coated in the same breading, with frozen french fries and a small portion of cole slaw.I had asked the server if... More
