When dinner on the water sounds right to us, we head to Doc Ford's. Last evening was an overcast sky, making perfect outside dining conditions. Our server, Netta was there as soon as we sat down, telling us about food and drink specials. She was...More

So I think Doc Ford must be Sick. This place used to be REALLY good and then a few years ago I noticed it going down in food quality and service. The owners apparently don't care if you like the food or service it's a...More

I had hope that this restaurant might offer genuinely good food from old Florida recipes. Didn't happen .. instead it was $9 pre-dinner drinks and just plain food. Red snapper steamed in a banana leaf was a thin piece of fish that had no taste...More

We really enjoy visiting Doc Fords. Love the fact that you can sit on a deck on the water and see all the fishing boats. You will be equally pleased with seafood or land (beef or chicken) options. Service was great and the menu is...More

Call them. Not "fine dining" but great food, excellent service and a quintessential FL atmosphere. If they are open, I reommend the fish tacos with papaya pico de gallo. Happy Easter!
