The turkey bacon club is outstanding. Can't beat the price. Lunch for two was $25 including drinks and a cup of their delicious chicken noodle soup.

Visited for lunch as part of a party of 5. Found the service to be very friendly and efficient and the food very good. I especially liked the chicken soup, which was chock full of fresh vegetables. The atmosphere was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The menu is not as extensive as a classic Jersey diner, but very good nonetheless.... More

We had breakfast here and it was really good. I had the vegetable omelet. It was huge and was cooked perfectly. Our waitress Sandy was friendly and efficient. We will definitely go back when in the area. Good food for a great price.

At 9pm on a Tuesday, it can be tough to find a good not fried meal. Here was a great option. Though a bit salty, the soup and Turkey tasted homemade and the granny Smith apple dressing was yummy. Portions big enough to be shared😁 The environment gave me neon giggles. The service was the shining star. This close to... More

We went to Mel's for breakfast on our way to Fort Meyers. The food was pretty good and the orange juice was VERY fresh. I would say overall it is an average diner that I would not seek out, but a good place to grab breakfast if it on your way. There is lots of seating and the decorations are... More

We visited Mel's when we 1st moved to Fort Myers years ago & thought "OK, typical diner" we can do better. This week we went back, after being lured by a friends experience. Sooo glad we did. My wife had the Lobster Benedict & I went for the Chicken fajita quesadilla breakfast. Both rated exceptional! Every meal we saw pass... More

We had a spunky waitress who was attentive and energetic. We had an omelette and a burger and both were tasty. The place was quite busy and has a fairly large menu. The interior aesthetics were reminiscent of a 50's diner with old music and movie stars on the walls.

Second choice. First was Waffle House which we'd tried on Christmas morning. Surprisingly good but we wanted another choice. Mel's was nearby. Retro 50's 60's contemporary blend. Good coffee. Eclectic menu. Interesting Benedicts. All ordered different items. All good I wanted grilled bananas on my pancakes and my server said the kitchen doesn't do it that way but she would... More

We moved here in September and we have visited this diner often since we've been here. Service is great and you can't go wrong with diner food. Excellent.
