This was my first time to try Central American food and I was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. I had the Papussa that was with pork and cheese. Then my main dish was the Nicaraguan platter that had marinated skirt steak, fried cheese, rice and beans, and sweet fried plantains. I would recommend you try this place out. It... More

Best Lomo saltado (marinated strips of steak sautéed with onions, peppers, tomatoes, & French fries) I have ever had! The sauce & flavor... Mouth watering! Also, ordered and loved: Papusa loco, chicken soup, fried yucca, green plantains, and the flan. Coffee Americano was excellent! Make sure you get the cabbage and onion garnish called reypollo and their homemade hot sauce.... More

I tried to order food from them numerous times on the same day. I was put on hold then hung up on. We called them 3 more times and were hung up on. Finally they answered on the 4th call. The person who answered the phone had an attitude and was very dismissive. I would not recommend this place.

This was our second visit and we feel fortunate to have this gem of a restaurant close to us. We moved from a place that had numerous El Salvadorian restaurants to a place we could find none until we found this wonderful place. Not only pupusas that ranked with best we had but also tasteful dishes from other Central America... More

The atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the food is quite good and reasonably priced. If you're in the neighborhood, check this place out.

The Pupusas are one of the traditional dishes from San Salvador; here, in this small restaurant you can find a variety of Pupusas. You need to try them; also their soups are very good. Lunch specials are excellent for the price including soup or dessert for $6.00. Place is clean, their staff are friendly and courteous. Evelyn Dipp

We've been here twice and the food and service is always great. The owner, Anna is very nice and service oriented. Give it a shot...you'll love it!

We're from Pittsburgh and cannot get pupusas there. So, when traveling, we try not to miss them. We really liked this little restaurant. The pupusas were very good, although we have had tastier. There was not a great selection of pupusas. The handmade tortilla (vivilados??) were excellent and the elote was the best. Service was not too quick but very... More

Very happy to have discovered this hidden gem amongst the Fowler Street strip malls. My initial visit was at lunch. I tried their carne asada luncheon special, and the amount and quality of the food delivered for the price constituted outstanding value. The dinner menu appears much more extensive and will be fun to explore when I return. Service was... More

Portions were ample. Prices modest. Servers friendly and attentive. Glad we tried it, but found Salvadorian cuisine to not be our personal favorite.
