Service was timely and efficient though a little impersonal. Food was very good. In and out in under an hour.

The service was excellent. We arrived early to avoid the wait. I suggest reservations for prime dinner hours. We all ordered "Catch of the Day" specials. I had the Black and White Sesame encrusted Tuna with Ginger Sauce. It was prepared excellent, near raw, barely seared. The Ginger sauce was delicate and the wasabi was hot. The portion much larger... Visiting Fort Myers for a Red Sox spring training game and searching for a seafood restaurant. Clerk at our hotel suggested Prawnbrokers, very glad he did. Food, wine, and service were all very good. They have their everyday menu and a daily "fresh"- caught menu. We started our dinner with crab stuffed mushrooms. Quite tasty. For our entrees, my wife... More

This is top-notch restaurant for service and food. This was my first time to visit but my family had been before and said how great it was. When in Florida, eat fresh seafood and this is one place with the best. The first night I had the red snapper caper dish with a sweet potato, sautéed green beans and it... More

We went 3 times in 3 weeks. First time very impressed with service from start to finish. Second time service not so good as baked potatoes were cold. Third time long wait between appetizer and entree. When entrees arrived medium rare steak was well done, salmon was dry, and had to ask three times for more bread. Kitchen staff was... More

We ate at this restaurant several years ago and thought it would be a good place to family and new friends. Since I monitor my glucose, I didn't want anything breaded or with a rich sauce, so I had the Grilled Plate which was skewered scallops and shrimp. My husband had grilled salmon. The entrees come with choice of salad... More

Frequently go to Prawnbroker and especially enjoy eating at the bar tables. It's a great intimate setting. Always an awesome place with great food and service! Ashley Davis is often our bartender/server and she is always smiling and super efficient! Judy, the bartender, is also great and makes a mean martini! Will definitely be there again soon!

Friends and I met at the prawnbroker after a suggestion from others and absolutely loved it! We started with a reservation for the group but the bartender Ashley convinced us to bring our group into the "lounge area". It was great. We will be coming back to see the "bar crew" very soon! Thank you prawnbroker

Description
Walking through the front doors, guests are greeted by the in-house seafood market, where the Prawnbroker showcases their specially chosen fresh fillets of fish and beef, hand-cut on premise, that are sure to tempt the palates of all. To emphasize their commitment to buying local and bringing you the freshest seafood Ft. Myers has to offer, you'll find our hand picked selection straight from the local waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you'll get a peek at the sumptuous fare that you'll soon be enjoying from their comfortable yet elegant dining room. Feast your eyes on mouth-watering Snapper, Gulf Shrimp, Softshell Crabs, Mahi Mahi, and the best Grouper Florida has to offer. Small tubs of pale pink creamy shrimp bisque stand in line next to bases for both kinds of chowder - New England style being what the restaurant is most famous for, a nod to the original owners' home region. Diners consistently return to enjoy these favorites plus the greatest Florida Stone crabs (in season) and Maine Lobsters.
