What a find! This place is maybe 10 minutes from the airport. Awesome food-we had Cuban sandwiches, tamales and ceviche. Amazing and very generous portions. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!

I stopped by to see a friend who works in the vicinity and he introduced me to El Tamarindo. The atmosphere is casual and the staff were professional and attentive. I ordered the pork and onions with fried plantains. The portion was large and the food was DELICIOUS! $10!!!!! $10!!!!! What a bargain! I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch!... More

We wanted a light meal after flying in late. The ceviche was presented beautifully and delicious. A generous portion with big chunks of fresh seafood would easily have filled us up. Unfortunately it was so good we kept ordering and overate by a long shot. It was all fabulous, Latin style seafood. I will say, I don't understand why people... More

My friends wanted to go to a Spanish restaurant and I volunteered to do some research on which restaurant to go to. Well, I found it! And I will be back here as often as I can. The service was amazing. The food was out of this world. We eat so much that we couldn't move afterwards. Just thinking about... More

I have passed it everyday on my way to and from work for the past 5 years and finally made it for lunch yesterday. My loss for not stopping sooner. Excellent menu with very affordable prices and the food was cooked to perfection. The roasted pork was excellent and more than I could eat. Kind of a mix between Cuban... More

This place is a gem. May look like a dive from the outside but once your inside its lay out pretty nice. We ordered the ceviche which was outstanding and enough to feed 2 people. Main dishes are large enough to feed two people as well. Recommend this place anytime of the day.

If you go, try the Mariscada soup. It is loaded with seafood and the creamy version is buttery, rich and satisfying. The portion is huge. So consider sharing the soup and a salad. The creamy garlic shrimp salad is also an excellent choice. Cusquemana is a Peruvian lager that is terrific, if you want to try something new and the... More

We wanted to try a place near our hotel, and i found this online. Cafe con leche was to die for! All the food had huge servings and everyone was so pleasant. We even got to meet the owner and he was very nice. Would recommend to others.

This summer, we met a lady for lunch to conduct a little business, and selected El Tamarindo because it was close and we had enjoyed it previously. We were pleased to find the food and service as nice as ever. Our lunch was great, the sangria was delicious and the server was very considerate of our extended conversation. We'll go... More
