You'd better arrive early as Canyon fills up fast... and no surprise as to why. The intimate dining room has limited seating, and servers really do know their business. Although nominally Southwestern cuisine (thanks to generous infusions of ancho and poblano chiles here and there), the seafood and pasta dishes while not typically Southwestern really are phenomenal. We've enjoyed a... More

One of the best meals we have ever had in all our years of vacationing in Fort Lauderdale. The tuna tartar was incredibly fresh, and only the calamari we had in Greece came close to the tenderness and flavour of the Thai chili calamari here. Save room for the incredible white chocolate bread pudding, which is truly decadent and meant... More

Had dinner here with 5 friends and everyone enjoyed their food. The grouper was tasty, the steak burrito was also good. The bread pudding is to die for. The service was great even though the place is small and a bit cramped.

Visited with US based family whilst on vacation from UK. The menu is varied but when asked about changing some items our server was quite dismissive and aloof. I wasn't asking him to change anything that would be difficult only maybe have plain grilled chicken as opposed to one that had been marinated in spices that I didn't like. His... More

We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Wow! Don't be afraid of the no reservations policy, they move people fast and even on Nye we sat right down. Two small plates per person will leave you stuffed and gives a chance to check out the whole menu. We especially liked the pork tacos, the pulled pork... More

Amazing service & food! 30 min wait minimized with infamous Prickly Pear Margarita, and chats with locals. Shrimp & Grits was yum along with bread pudding. Waiter (Jeff) was super!

Cayon Southwest Cafe has a vibe and a western decor that plays with the tropical outdoor setting. The Cafe is well maintained and the staff is friendly. We are currently having perfect weather, and the seafood special with Shrimp and Scallop is also good.
